⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn 16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Hos 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6 Ps 23:1-6, Stops Sinning, Knowledge of God, 1 Cor 8:1, Prov 9:10, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online or in person dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

We join with you in this burden and we thank God for the grace He has given you to continue to pray and to intercede for her, for we see your heart is to see God glorified and her soul restored. We agree with you that He who began a good work in you and in her will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6, and we stand with you asking for His perfect will to be done.

We hear your cry for the church and family to intervene according to Matt 18:16-17, and we know this is the loving and biblical pattern. If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone, and if he will not listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. This is not harshness but love, for open rebuke is better than hidden love, Prov 27:5, and we pray that those pastors and friends who have indicated willingness will not hold back out of the fear of man, for the fear of man proves to be a snare, Prov 29:25, but that they will fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna, Matt 10:28, and tremble at His word, Isa 66:2. We ask the Lord to put His fear upon them and to give them courage to speak the truth in love, Eph 4:15, with the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, Eph 6:17, which is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, Heb 4:12.

We join you in praying that the Holy Spirit will convict her of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, John 16:8, for apart from that conviction there is no true repentance. We ask with you that the Lord would hedge up her way with thorns as He promised, Hosea 2:6, Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she cannot find her paths. She will follow her lovers, but she will not overtake them, Hosea 2:7, so that every avenue of adultery and fornication would be blocked. We must speak plainly here as you have, for you mentioned adultery and dating. Scripture is clear that marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Heb 13:4. You shall not commit adultery, Ex 20:14, and everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, Matt 5:28. Any sexual intimacy outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman is sin before God, whether it is called dating, a relationship, or a partnership. We pray she will be granted grace to no longer hint at sin but to confess and forsake it, for he who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy, Prov 28:13. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9.

We also pray with you that she would turn from evil men and impostors, for we are to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and that she would flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Tim 2:22. We ask the Lord to grant her inner healing, for from the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds, welts, and open sores, Isa 1:6, and only the Shepherd can make us lie down in green pastures and restore our souls, Ps 23:1-3. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, Ps 23:1, and we ask Him to lead her beside still waters and restore her.

We share your desire that if God makes her holy and truly born again and truly repentant, demonstrating repentance with humility as the prodigal who came to his senses and said I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, Luke 15:18, and with godly sorrow which works repentance to salvation, 2 Cor 7:10, then there could be a testimony of His perfect patience as shown to us, 1 Tim 1:16. Yet we must also gently remind you and her that we must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Cor 6:14, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, and that two cannot walk together unless they are agreed, Amos 3:3. A courtship must be between two believers in Christ with the clear goal of godly marriage, not mere companionship, and with a shared vision to honor the Lord and support His calling. If she is not walking in repentance and faith, restoration of a marriage or a future marriage cannot be built on that foundation. Do not call unclean what God has cleansed, Acts 10:15, is true when God has truly cleansed a heart, and all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching and correction, 2 Tim 3:16, but cleansing is evidenced by a new life and turning from sin, 2 Cor 5:17.

We pray for ever increasing clarity and wisdom for you and for her, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, Col 1:9-10, and that love may abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, Phil 1:9-10. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up, 1 Cor 8:1, and the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10, and to depart from evil is understanding, Prov 8:13.

We lift up this heartfelt prayer together in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, John 14:6.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and that Your kindness is intended to lead us to repentance, Rom 2:4. We ask You to raise up and strengthen those five messengers and others to finish the work they said they would do with love and zeal and not with negligence, for cursed is he who does the work of Yahweh negligently, Jer 48:10, yet let it be done with gentleness, each one looking to himself, so that he also is not tempted, Gal 6:1. Grant that she may escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive to do his will, 2 Tim 2:26, and that those who sin may be reproved in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear, 1 Tim 5:20. Hedge her way with thorns, convict her heart, bring her to her senses, grant her to stop sinning and to awake to righteousness, 1 Cor 15:34, deliver her and this family and the little one and all of us from temptation and from evil and from the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, and from lies and from the deceitful tongue, Zeph 3:13. Heal what is broken, lead her to confess, and cause her to desire holiness over lovers. We trust You for a hope and a future, Jer 29:11, and we pray that whatever the outcome, You will be glorified and Your will be done, and as David prayed, who knows whether Yahweh will be gracious, 2 Sam 12:22. Give us patience to wait on You and faith to keep praying without ceasing, Luke 18:1, and to thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer we will receive, Mark 11:24. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how much love and grief is in this prayer, and how long you have been carrying it. Wanting her to be surrounded, protected, and brought to clarity while you wait is a heavy place to stand, especially with a youngster in the middle of it all. Thank you for bringing it honestly before the Lord and for wanting the help of her church and family to come alongside in a gentle, steady way.

We are encouraged by your willingness to trust God with the timing and to stay patient when others have not yet stepped in as you hoped. Healing and restoration, when God brings it, is most often a gradual work that needs consistent accountability and community, not a single moment. It helps to let trusted pastors carry the responsibility for intervention while you stay faithful in prayer and keep your own heart guarded and supported.

One practical step that may help you in this season is to stay closely connected to one pastor or mature believer you trust for your own care. Share regularly how you are doing, let them help you discern next steps, and keep rooted in worship and fellowship yourself so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this woman to You for protection, clarity, and deep inner healing, and we lift this brother for wisdom, patience, and peace as he waits on You. Guard them both and the child from temptation and evil, and guide each step by Your will. Lead the church and family with gentleness and courage to speak truth in love. We trust You to work for good and ask for Your will to be done in each life, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest intercession has been laid before the Lord, and there is much in it which is according to the mind of God, for you ask not for the prospering of sin but for the plucking of a brand from the burning.

You pray that her way might be hedged with thorns according to Hosea, and that the church and family might intervene according to Matthew 18, and that the Spirit might convict according to John 16. These are right petitions if they are offered with a right end. Yet remember that judgments alone may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature of men. Such repentance is not of that holy, healthy, heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. Here are scales wherewith you may weigh repentance. Does it lead the soul to glorify God by confessing sin without excuse, by abhorring sin because of the love of Christ who pardoned it, and by looking out of self to Christ and to Christ only. That is repentance unto life, and it will be practical repentance, yielding works meet for repentance, and it will last, for repentance lives as long as faith.

Do not therefore rest your hope upon thorns alone, nor upon being kept from lovers or kept from meeting any. The goodness of God leads to repentance, not merely the hedge. The Lord does not drive to repentance as a slave is driven with the whip, but draws with cords of love. His goodness coming in many forms should lead the soul to say, I have sinned against heaven and before God. If the hedge is blessed, it will be blessed only as it makes the husks of the far country bitter, and makes the soul remember the Father's house.

You have well remembered the prodigal in Luke 15. Be comforted by this, the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw his son when he was yet a great way off, even before the son saw his father. And when he came, the father kissed him much, which meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration, yea exceeding joy. So it shall be if God grants that repentance which needs not to be repented of, that godly sorrow which worketh repentance unto salvation. Manasseh himself, who did evil in the sight of the Lord beyond measure, was nevertheless brought to repentance when the iron entered into his soul, and he showed it practically by seeking to undo what he had done, for restitution must be made where wrong has been done, or repentance is a sham. If such a wretch was brought to repentance, surely no one need despair, yet let no one presume, for there is also a repentance that comes too late and brings no salvation.

Concerning the church, you do well to desire that faithful men should take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and speak with love and reverence for covenant and with zeal, not with negligence. Let Matthew 18 be followed gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin, and let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye upon yourselves, lest ye also be tempted, as Galatians 6 teaches. Pray that pastors and family may fear God rather than man, for the fear of man is a snare, and that they may tremble at His Word as Isaiah 66 declares. Pray that they may speak repentance not after the manner of Moses, nor only as preparation, but as it is to be preached in the name of Jesus, that is, as the gift of God through His atoning blood and by the authority of the ascended Head of the Church. For we are not to put repenting into the place of Christ. Christ must be the sole master of the heart. Repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant is good, but faith must then admit Christ to reign.

Therefore continue instant in prayer as you have done, pleading Philippians 1:6 that He which hath begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Ask for ever increasing clarity and wisdom as James 1:5 promises, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, and that love may abound with knowledge and discernment to choose the most excellent way. Pray that all, yourself, the little one, and she for whom you intercede, may be delivered from temptation and from evil and from the evil one, and may flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart, according to 2 Timothy 2:22. And pray that if God makes clean, none may call unclean, yet only as He makes holy, for we cannot be unequally yoked, and two cannot walk together except they be agreed in vision and in the Lord.

May the Lord grant you patience to wait as the prodigal's father waited, and faith to look to Christ alone for that remission of sins which alone makes repentance of any value, for repentance and remission are preached together in His name, and faith and repentance are inseparable. May He grant her that godly sorrow which glorifies God, which confesses adultery and all sin without hinting or cloaking, which turns from evil men and seducers, and which proves itself by a new life to the glory and praise of God.
