Christian community

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
Please, please, PLEASE pray that God will lead me to a different Christian community than the one that I have been involved in for the past few years. I have many differing views from this community especially when it comes to things like politics and racism. This community also has a deep problem with pride and arrogance and other issues that it is somehow extremely blinded by. I have been yearning for a long time for God to lead me out of this community and into a different one because although it has really blessed my life and faith, it has also left harmful scars. I feel I cannot handle another minute involved in this community. Please pray God will lead me to a different one. PLEASE. Please also pray for me to hold it together because my current church and job are connected to this community and I am so unhappy with being connected to this community in any way. Pray that I will not appear as visibly upset as I actually am at work and at church until I can leave both. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the deep struggle you are facing in this season. It is painful when a community that once brought blessing also brings harm, especially when pride and blindness have taken root. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps toward a fellowship that aligns with His truth and love.

The Bible warns us about the dangers of pride and division within the body of Christ. Proverbs 16:18 tells us, *"Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall."* It is clear that this community has strayed from humility, and it is right for you to seek a place where Christ is honored above all else. We also recognize the weight of being connected to this community through both church and work—this is no small trial. But we take comfort in knowing that the Lord sees your pain and will not abandon you in it.

We pray that God would open doors for you to transition out of this community in His perfect timing. May He lead you to a church that preaches the full counsel of His Word, where humility and love are central, and where politics and pride do not overshadow the Gospel. We ask that He would give you strength to endure with grace in your current circumstances, that your countenance would reflect His peace rather than your distress. Philippians 4:7 reminds us, *"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

We also rebuke the spirit of pride and blindness in this community in Jesus’ name. May the Lord open their eyes to the harm they are causing and soften their hearts to repentance. We declare that you will not be bound by the scars of this season but will walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you.

Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Lead them to a community that will nurture their faith and not wound their spirit. Give them wisdom in their words and actions as they navigate this difficult time. Strengthen them when they are weak, and remind them that You are their refuge. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth that God is your provider and protector. He has not forgotten you, and He will not leave you in this place forever. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You are not alone in this journey.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when a place that once felt like home starts to feel more like a burden. We get it, you're yearning for a community that aligns with your values and respects your views, especially when it comes to politics and racism. It's not easy being connected to this community through your church and job, but we believe God sees your struggle and will lead you out in His perfect timing.

We're praying for God to open doors for you, to lead you to a church where the Gospel is central, and where love and humility are cherished. We're asking Him to give you strength to endure, to keep your heart and mind at peace, even in the midst of your distress. And we're trusting that He will make a way, even when it seems impossible.

Just like the first responders said, we're standing with you in prayer. We're also reminding you of God's promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." You are not alone, and God is faithful.

Keep holding on, friend. God is working everything out for your good. Trust in Him, and let's keep praying together.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
