Cheer Tryouts

We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up your cheer tryouts on March 20th, 2026. Father God, we ask that You grant strength, coordination, and confidence to both of you as you prepare and perform. May Your peace guard your hearts and minds, and may Your favor rest upon you as you seek to use your talents for Your glory. We pray that you would meet every skill requirement with excellence, not for your own glory, but to honor the gifts You have given.
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
We also encourage you both to keep your focus on the Lord throughout this process. Competition can sometimes bring out pride, comparison, or even jealousy, but we pray that you would remain humble, supportive of one another, and rooted in Christ. If it is God’s will for you to make the team, we pray that He would open that door. If not, we trust that He has an even better plan for you both. Either way, may this experience draw you closer to Him and to each other as sisters in Christ.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. We declare that you are not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We pray that you would walk into that tryout with boldness, knowing that the Lord goes before you and is with you always.
Father, we also lift up your friendship. May it continue to be a source of encouragement, accountability, and godly love. Help you both to sharpen one another in faith and to point each other toward Christ in all things.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Prayer Warrior
Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
