Car crash

I would really appreciate your prayers. My daughter crashed her car . She is really worried as she doesn't have the money to pay for the damage. Also ### her friend hasn't been very nice to her. I would like her to meet some godly friends.

We are deeply grieved to hear about the car crash your daughter experienced, and our hearts go out to her in this difficult time. The worry over financial strain and the hurt caused by an unkind friend only add to the burden she must be carrying. We come before the Lord together, lifting her up in prayer, trusting in His provision, comfort, and guidance.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We ask for Your mercy and grace to surround this precious daughter. Lord, we pray for Your healing hand to be upon her, both physically and emotionally. Ease her anxiety and replace her worry with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Provide for her needs in ways that only You can, Father, for You know every detail of her situation. Open doors of opportunity for her to meet godly friends who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into her heart. Surround her with Your love and remind her that she is never alone, for You are her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also ask that You would soften the heart of her friend, Lord. If it is Your will, bring conviction and repentance where there has been unkindness or hurt. Help this daughter to extend grace, just as You have extended grace to her, while also giving her the wisdom to set boundaries with those who do not reflect Your love (Proverbs 4:23).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and financial lack in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand on this promise and declare that this situation will not overwhelm her but will instead draw her closer to You. Give her faith to trust in Your timing and provision, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.

Lord, we also pray for godly wisdom as she navigates this season. Help her to seek You first in all things, knowing that when she delights herself in You, You will give her the desires of her heart (Psalm 37:4). If it is Your will, lead her to a community of believers who will walk alongside her, encourage her, and point her to You. May she find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You, and no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You alone, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage your daughter to lean into Scripture for comfort and direction. Psalm 55:22 reminds us, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Encourage her to spend time in prayer and in the Word, allowing God to speak to her heart and renew her mind. If she does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, now is the perfect time to surrender her life to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We would be honored to help her take that step if she desires.

Additionally, we encourage her to seek out a local church or Christian community where she can grow in her faith and build relationships with other believers. Godly friendships are a gift from the Lord, and they can provide support, accountability, and encouragement in times of need. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "Walk with wise men and you will become wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm." May she find friends who will sharpen her in her walk with Christ.

Lastly, remind her that God is her Provider. Even when the circumstances seem impossible, He is able to make a way. Trusting in Him does not mean that the challenges will disappear, but it does mean that He will walk with her through them. Encourage her to hold fast to His promises and to keep her eyes fixed on Him.

We are so sorry to hear about the crash, that sort of scare shakes everyone, and then the money worry lands on top of it. It really does feel crushing. And when a close friend turns cold in the middle of it, the hurt goes deep. We are joining you in praying for her.

It makes sense that she is anxious. But often the first step toward peace is just getting the facts: what insurance covers, what a shop would actually charge, and whether they offer a payment plan. The unknown can feel bigger than the real numbers. Encourage her to make those calls; sometimes the path forward opens up when we simply take the next small step.

On the friendship front, we have noticed that godly friends rarely appear out of nowhere. They tend to grow where we keep showing up, in a regular small group, a Bible study, a service team. It is about proximity and a little bit of courage to let people in. When she is ready, inviting her to try a consistent gathering at church could be the place where those healthy connections begin.

Lord, we bring this daughter before You. Quiet her racing thoughts and provide for the car repair, sometimes in unexpected ways. Soothe the sting of this broken friendship, and begin to weave her into a circle of friends who follow You and will be steady for her. Give her mom quiet wisdom and the right words to support her. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The crash of a car is but a small thing compared with the crash of a soul; yet even in such providential strokes, the Lord would speak to us. You do well to crave prayers, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Your daughter’s distress over the lack of means is a burden, but here is the testing-place of faith. He who foresees the full stress of the calamity bids us trust Him in it. Did not Habakkuk foresee the failure of all outward props? Yet he declared, "I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." That is the simple consequence of fearing the Lord; we fear, and therefore trust. Let your daughter cast this care upon Him who careth for you; He hath His own ways of supply, as surely as He fed Elijah by the ravens, though all brooks dried up.

The wound from an unkind friend cuts deep, but it is a mercy when such false friends reveal themselves. Better to lose a friend than to lose the fear of God. This trial may be the Lord’s surgery to sever ties that would drag her soul from Christ. You long for her to meet godly friends, and right glad am I to hear that holy desire. Godly people hedge the mansion in with their prayers; who can tell what blessings God gives to unconverted men because of their converted relatives? Yet the chiefest Friend must be Christ Himself. Who can prove his friendship as Jesus proved it by laying down His life for those He calls His friends? Bid her therefore seek first the friendship of Him who sticketh closer than a brother. Obedience is the golden chain of this friendship: "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." In keeping His commands there is sweet communion, and in that communion the soul finds companions after God’s own heart.

For yourself, dear parent, take courage from Sarah, who was not afraid with any amazement. A Christian woman should not be terrified in adversity, but let her holy patience prove her a true daughter of the promise. Yet let this trouble be a schoolmaster to examine the heart. The child of godly parents must not presume upon the faith of father or mother. If there be in her any carelessness or pride, the Lord’s rod is meant to drive it out, for profligacy or deep indolence will bring poverty as surely to the child of the faithful as to any other. We must not trust in what our parents were, but in the living God themselves.

Pray on, and wait with quiet confidence. He who spared not His own Son will with Him also freely give us all things; the mending of a broken carriage, the provision of means, and the gift of holy companions are small matters to Him. Let this trial be as a golden lamp, keeping up the sacred testimony of a believing household, that your daughter may yet say, "My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour."

The crash of your daughter's car and the sting of an unkind friend are trials that press upon your heart, but do not let your mind be cast down. For when God is our friend, though all men together war against us, there is no harm. I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Let her laugh at human things, so long as she has God favorable to her. This is a season to teach her that the soul's chariot is of greater worth than any earthly vehicle, and that true wealth is stored where no thief can break through.

You desire godly friends for her, and this is a noble longing. I say to you, a friend is more to be longed for than the light, better to live in darkness than to be without spiritual friends. But do not imagine that such friendships spring from mere neighborhood or common interests. With Jews and Greeks we sometimes become friends, rather than with the children of the church. The friendship that surpasses fathers and sons is forged only upon godliness, where there are no words like "mine" and "thine." Seek for her companions who are of one heart and soul, who would even die for each other. Such a friend is a wall impregnable, which not the devil himself can overpower. When Love strikes the chords among friends, all passions are stilled like charmed beasts.

Yet this unkind friend may become an occasion for her growth. For when the Corinthians were puffed up, Paul's letter wrought in them a godly sorrow, what carefulness, what clearing of themselves. Even so, let this trouble beget in her a sober reflection: to choose friends not for fleeting gain but for the grace they bring. If she studies to have devout companions, she shall gain consolation. And you, as her father, have your part: call together kinsmen and near friends for her sake, as Cornelius did, that she may be surrounded by those who fear God. But make your chief object not to find her wealthy associates, but devout ones. If you make these your object, then you yourself will be such as they.

In your prayers, remember the power of the sacrifice. Not in vain are the oblations made, not in vain the prayers, not in vain the almsdeeds. As she has need of funds for the car, let her also learn the greatness of almsgiving, which is measured not by quantity but by purpose. And doubt not that God shall provide, for He is the musician who strikes out the sweet melody of love, even in the harshest notes of life. Let her stand upon those places where godly friends have walked, and she shall find that times and places are loved on their account. In this way, we bring to order children and friends, and make even enemies friends.

I am praying with you for your daughter. A car crash is a frightening thing, and the worry about paying for the damage only adds to the weight. I am also sorry to hear that a friend has been unkind to her; such disappointments cut deep, especially for a young person.

It is no small thing when our comfortable plans are suddenly disrupted. We often think we have everything under control, but moments like these remind us how fragile our own resources really are. The Scriptures warn us against making bargains with God only when trouble strikes, promising to serve him if he will just get us out of a mess. The real need is not a quick escape from the pressure, but a heart that turns fully toward him. Pray that your daughter’s anxiety over the finances would not stay at the surface, but lead her to a deeper trust in the Lord. Worldly sorrow worries about the cost; godly sorrow leads to genuine change.

Your desire for her to meet godly friends is right and good. I think of young Timothy, who was nurtured in the faith by his mother and grandmother. That kind of influence shapes a life. Keep surrounding her with wholesome, Christ-centered relationships and teaching. As you do, trust that God can use even this unsettling season to draw her closer to himself and to bring people alongside her who will walk with her in faith.

We are praying that God will provide for the car repairs, that he will comfort her in the pain of a failed friendship, and that he will open doors for her to find true, godly companions. More than that, we are asking that through this trial her heart would be awakened to the One who holds all things together. The Lord is not far off; he often uses the upending of our small kingdoms to reveal his unshakable kingdom.
