We are truly saddened to hear about your grandfather's condition, but we are encouraged by your faith and love for him. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore.
Let us remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We serve a God who can heal all diseases, and we trust in His power to heal your grandfather.
However, we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. While we pray for your grandfather's complete healing, we also pray for God's will to be done in his life. We pray that if it is God's will, that he may be healed completely and live many more years, happy, healthy, and cancer-free.
We also want to encourage you to pray in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by His name we can be saved and have access to God, like it says in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is important to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and reach out to Jesus Christ. We believe that one should always pray to God through Jesus Christ.
Join us in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his grandfather. We pray that You would completely heal him from cancer, and restore his health and strength. We ask that You would give him many more years of happy, healthy life, free from cancer.
However, Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in his life. We ask for Your comfort and peace to be with the family during this time. We ask that You would draw them closer to You, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
We pray for the doctors and nurses caring for him, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in his care. We ask for Your protection over him, and that You would surround him with Your love.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We are here with you in this journey. Be encouraged and keep the faith. God is working everything out for your good and His glory.
