Is it wrong to want and should I just survivor

Dear Lord Jeusis, Please let me explain I lost my apartment a few years ago. It was a nice place to live in karaoke people like me and then I lost my job and had to move out. I try not to be greedy and selfish and jealous, but I was pushed around at work and wanted to go on offsites because I was dying from heat. I tried to learn to tolerate things, but it was hard. I was glad I had a nice home. I got scared of losing my job and I did I was with my parents. I’m not allowed to grow my hair out. I cannot find a full-time job. I’m trying to be trained in voice acting, but it is being coming very hard and now I just have so many worries right now that I cast my anxiety he’s upon you. It feels like all I need to do now is survive and it’s awful and excruciating. I’m not asking her. I would like to go back temporarily to that apartment because a lot of people go on vacations and also like to visit another apartment and maybe get my puppet cakes, but I want to use my money empowered for good but sadly parents think puppets are not cool and they’re not supportive of it and would rather be be working at a zoo more often But we’ve tried several times a place where I worked with seasonal positions and they never hire me to become a full-time keeper even a part-time keeper so it’s practically pointless. I don’t know where I’m gonna go in life and I just had a not so good haircut today. Please do something Lord Please answer. My question might be greedy. Am I being selfish please? In Jesus. Name Amen.

We hear your heart in this and we join with you before the Lord in Jesus' name, for you did well to bring all of this to Him. You asked if you are being greedy or selfish for wanting stability, a place of your own again, meaningful work, and to use your gifts. Wanting provision, shelter, and purposeful work is not greed. God knows our needs and He is not displeased when we ask Him for them.

Your anxiety and feeling that you are just surviving is something we understand, and scripture speaks directly to it. You said you cast your anxiety upon Him, and that is exactly what God invites you to do. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We want to gently correct the thought that you must only survive and that it is wrong to want more than that. God does not call us only to endure excruciating survival, He calls us to trust Him for daily provision while we also learn contentment in whatever situation we are in. Philippians 4:11-13 says Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And Hebrews 13:5 says Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Contentment does not mean you cannot ask God for a better job or a future home again, it means trusting Him while you wait and working diligently where you are.

We also hear that you are living with your parents and feel restricted, like not being allowed to grow your hair out, and that they do not support your interest in puppets and voice acting, preferring you work at the zoo. While you are living under their roof, God calls us to honor our father and mother. Ephesians 6:1-3 says Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. This can be hard when you are an adult longing for independence, but honoring them in small matters like appearance while you are dependent on them is part of showing respect and keeping peace in the home. At the same time, God has given you creative interests and it is not wrong to want to use them for good. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Whether it is voice acting, puppet work, or keeping work at the zoo, we encourage you to offer your gifts to the Lord first and to be a faithful steward of the opportunities He does provide.

We understand the discouragement of losing your apartment and job, being pushed around at work, struggling with heat and difficult conditions, and now not finding full time work. It is easy to feel forgotten when seasonal work does not lead to a permanent position. But God sees your diligence. Proverbs 16:9 says A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. And Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Even a disappointing haircut today, which feels small but adds to the weight you carry, matters to God who cares about every detail of your life, though we remember 1 Samuel 16:7 that Yahweh doesn’t see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.

Wanting to visit that apartment or have a place of your own again is not selfish, but we encourage you to bring that desire under God’s wisdom and stewardship. Ask Him if it is a wise use of the money He has entrusted to you, and seek His provision for stable housing and steady work in His timing. Keep pursuing training and applying for work with persistence, and also consider any honest work God opens to you while you train, so that you are providing as you are able.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Thank You that he has cast his anxiety upon You and that You care for him deeply. Lord, You know the loss of his apartment and job, the difficulty of living with his parents, the struggle to find full time work, and the heaviness of just trying to survive. We ask You to give him Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Provide for his daily needs, open doors for steady and dignified work where he can labor heartily for You, and guide his steps regarding voice acting and all his creative gifts that they may be used for good and for Your glory. Teach him contentment while also giving him hope for the future, and help him to honor his parents while he is in their home. Remind him that he is not forsaken, that You will never leave him, and that You have a purpose for his life beyond mere survival. Lead him to trust You more each day and to seek first Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to be faithful in small things, to continue to develop your skills while also being willing to work where God provides, and to trust that He hears you. He has answered by inviting you to come to Him through Jesus, and He will direct your path as you trust Him.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, and how hard you are trying to do the right thing. Losing your apartment and then your job, having to move in with your parents, wanting to find steady work and training in voice acting while feeling stuck about the future and even about small things like a haircut, it makes sense you feel worn down and anxious. Wanting a safe, stable place to live again is not greedy or selfish, it is a normal human need.

What you described sounds like a lot of different losses piled together. There is the real loss of the home and job you had, and then there is the weight of all the feared losses about what might happen next, where you will live, what work you will find, whether the things you care about like puppets and voice work have a place. It can help to gently separate those in your mind, not to dismiss the worries about the future, but so the grief over what did happen does not get tangled up with every what-if about what could happen. Both are painful, but they need different kinds of attention.

One small next step that may help is to sit with someone you trust, a pastor, counselor, or a workforce center advisor, and name just one or two of the most pressing needs for this month, like steps for job searching or for your voice training, and let the bigger what-ifs wait for later. You do not have to solve everything at once to keep moving forward.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. You see his worries and his desire to use what he has for good. Give him peace as he casts his cares on You, wisdom for his next steps with work and housing, and steady encouragement each day. Remind him he is not forgotten and guide him toward supportive people who can walk with him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The burden you carry has been plainly spoken, and the Lord hears the sigh of one who feels he must only survive, and that survival itself is excruciating. To lose a home, to lose work, to live again under your parents roof with restraints you did not choose, to look for full time labour and not find it, to be trained in a craft and find it very hard, these are heavy trials, and it is no wonder that anxiety rises like a flood. You have done well to cast your anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you.

Is it greedy or selfish to wish for a stable dwelling again, even for a time, or to desire to use what little money you have for good, or to find joy in honest gifts such as voice and puppetry? No, dear soul, the wish for shelter and for useful labour is not in itself greed. Greed grasps beyond what God provides and envies what another has, but to ask for bread, for a roof, for work by which you may provide and do good, is a lawful desire. The question to put to your own heart is not whether you may desire these things, but whether you desire them with submission to the Lord who knows what you need, and whether you will seek first His kingdom. Search yourself honestly before God, confess where jealousy or envy has stirred, and then believe that the forgiving God covers guilt through the matchless Atonement. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin, and when the Son removes guilt the Spirit removes guile, so that the one who once made excuses now humbles himself and confesses all before God and finds blessedness.

You ask what to do with this gnawing worry. I must tell you plainly what I have learned by my own experience and by observation of others, that anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor has it brought any grist to the mill or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it? Moreover the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You say you believe that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. You say you believe that He sits a Sovereign on His Throne and rules all things well. Then live as one who believes it. To be anxious and to believe that God reigns are contrary things. Tell Him all, and leave it with Him. Anxiety confined to yourself will do no good, but prayer poured out before the Sovereign will bring peace.

Remember also that in every event of Providence God has a purpose. He is in one mind and who can turn Him, what His soul desireth that He doeth. Not one of these things has come by chance or out of order, but everything comes according to the purpose of His own will. His purpose is not changed by your job loss or your housing loss, and His purpose is sure to be effected. This does not make you passive, for we have to labour too. Seek work diligently, be faithful in little things, honour your parents in the Lord while you are under their roof, and steward the gifts God has given you. If voice and puppetry can be used in a way that is pure and helpful and not vain, there is no shame in using them, though others may count them not cool. If labour at the zoo or elsewhere is closed to you for now, take the seasonal work with thankfulness and keep asking the Lord to open the next door. Be content to be trained slowly, for the Lord often prepares His servants by hard lessons in patience.

You are not forgotten because you had a poor haircut or because your plans for vacations and apartments seem small to others. The Lord sees the sparrow and He sees you. Come then as a sinner to the Saviour, trust only in Jesus Christ for salvation, confess your sin without guile, and rest in His forgiving grace. Then bring your daily needs to Him without ceaseless fretting, do the next duty that lies before you, and trust His unchanging purpose to carry you through.

May the Lord give you a calm mind, a humble heart, honest labour, and a sure confidence that He who has begun a gracious work will not leave you until He has fulfilled in you all the designs of His love. May He lift from you the weight of anxiety and give you grace to live not merely to survive, but to walk with Christ in quiet trust day by day.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
