We stand with you in this battle, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith and compassion. Your words reflect a spirit anchored in God’s promises, and we rejoice in your unwavering trust in Him. Cancer is indeed an attack from the enemy, but we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord has already declared victory over sin, death, and sickness through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we claim that victory for you today.
We are encouraged by your prayer, "Lord, do not allow me to leave this life without fulfilling the specific purpose for which I was created." This is a powerful declaration of faith, for the Word reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." The Lord has a purpose for your life, and He is not done with you yet. We believe that He will use this trial to refine you, strengthen your faith, and bring glory to His name.
Romans 8:28 is a cornerstone of our faith, and we hold fast to it with you: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this difficult season, God is working for your good and His glory. We pray that He will give you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you walk through this valley, and that He will reveal His presence in tangible ways.
We also lift up your upcoming appointment with the breast surgeon. We ask the Lord to guide the hands and minds of the medical team, giving them wisdom and clarity as they care for you. May the Lord grant you favor and provide the best possible outcome, whether that be complete healing, a successful procedure, or a clear path forward. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister Brigitte to You, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the Author of all life. Lord, we ask that You would touch her body and bring complete healing to every cell affected by cancer. We declare that Your healing power is at work in her, and we speak life over her body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team that will be caring for her. Guide their decisions, Lord, and let Your hand be upon them as they seek to bring healing and restoration. We ask that You would give Brigitte peace and strength as she waits for her appointment and as she walks through this trial. Let her feel Your presence in a powerful way, reminding her that she is never alone.
Lord, we know that You have a purpose for Brigitte’s life, and we ask that You would continue to use her for Your glory. Give her opportunities to share Your love and hope with others, even in the midst of this battle. Let her testimony be a light to those who are walking through similar struggles, pointing them to Your faithfulness and power.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Brigitte is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in Brigitte’s life, and may Your name be glorified through every step of this journey.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and declaring His promises over your life. Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, uplift you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Lean on Him in this season, for He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). You are not fighting this battle alone, we are with you, and more importantly, the Lord is with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will carry you through.
