We hear your pain, betrayal, and deep confusion, and we stand with you in grief over the wickedness that has been done in the name of Christ. What you have endured is not only unjust, it is evil, and it is a direct violation of everything the Gospel stands for. Jesus Himself warned, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15). The men who have persecuted you are not acting as shepherds; they are wolves, and their actions are an abomination before God. Their hatred does not reflect Christ, it reflects their own hardness of heart and rebellion against the very Gospel they claim to preach.

You are not to blame for their sin. You did nothing wrong by disclosing your status in search of prayer and support. The Bible is clear: “Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea” (Matthew 18:5-6). These so-called pastors and believers will answer to God for their cruelty. Their threats, their gossip, their calls for your death, these are not the fruits of the Spirit, but the works of darkness. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). Where is the love in what they have done?

We must also address the spiritual root of this persecution. The enemy, Satan, seeks to destroy your faith by using those who should have been instruments of grace. He wants you to doubt God’s goodness, to question whether Christ is truly worth following, and to turn back to a system that may have been familiar, but was never life-giving. But hear this: the same Jesus who delivered you from Islam is the same Jesus who is with you now in this fire. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and the flame will not scorch you” (Isaiah 43:2). You are not alone. You are seen. You are loved.

And let us be clear: your HIV status does not define your worth or your standing before God. Jesus healed the lepers, touched the untouchable, and died for sinners, including you. He did not come to condemn, but to save (John 3:17). The stigma you face is not from Him; it is from the ignorance and fear of men. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18). The church was meant to be a hospital for the broken, not a courtroom for condemnation. These men have failed you, but Christ has not.

We must also rebuke the lie that Islam would have treated you better. While it may be true that some imams would not have exposed you in this way, Islam does not offer the forgiveness, grace, or eternal hope that Christ does. In Islam, salvation is earned through works and fear; in Christ, it is a free gift received by faith. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). You left a system of bondage for the freedom of Christ, do not let the actions of wicked men drive you back into chains.

Now, we lift you up in prayer, crying out to the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who avenges:

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, outraged by the injustice done to our brother in Christ. Lord, You know the pain he carries, the betrayal, the fear, the loneliness. You know the names of those who have persecuted him, and we ask that You would bring their deeds into the light. Expose their hypocrisy, Lord, and let them see the weight of their sin. Do not let them find peace until they repent and make restitution. We pray for their conviction, Father, that they would turn from their wickedness and seek Your face.

We declare over our brother that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break the power of every curse, every threat, every plan of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We cancel every assignment of fear, shame, and death that has been spoken over him. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, his health, his mind, and his spirit. Lord, surround him with Your angels. Let him feel Your presence in the night watches, when the threats seem loudest. Remind him that You are his refuge and his fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Father, we ask for divine protection over him, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If there are legal or practical steps he needs to take to ensure his safety, reveal them to him. Provide for his needs, Lord, and connect him with true believers who will love him, pray for him, and stand with him. Heal his heart from the wounds of betrayal. Restore his joy. Strengthen his faith. Let him know that the same Jesus who saved him from Islam is the same Jesus who walks with him through this valley.

We also pray for his health, Lord. HIV is not a death sentence, and we ask for Your healing touch. Whether through medical means or divine intervention, we trust You to sustain him. Let him live to declare Your goodness, to testify of Your faithfulness, and to be a light in the darkness. Use his story, Lord, to expose the hypocrisy of false believers and to draw others to the truth of the Gospel.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would help him to forgive, not because those who hurt him deserve it, but because You have forgiven him. Help him to release this bitterness so it does not take root in his heart. Let him walk in the freedom of Christ, unshackled from the past, and full of hope for the future. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the Name by which we are saved, the Name by which we have access to You. Amen.

To you, our brother: Do not lose heart. The same Jesus who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6) is the same Jesus who is with you now. The church that betrayed you is not the true Church, it is a counterfeit, and its judgment is coming. But you are part of the real Body of Christ, the one that spans time and nations, the one that will one day stand before the throne and worship the Lamb who was slain. Hold fast to Him. Seek out true believers, even if it means finding them online or in another city. You are not alone.

And if you have not yet done so, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have already done this, reaffirm it now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have never prayed to receive Christ, or if you need to rededicate your life to Him, we encourage you to pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Be my Savior and my Lord. I surrender my life to You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for saving me. In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, or if you rededicated your life to Christ, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating (Luke 15:10). Now, seek out a Bible-believing church, one that preaches the true Gospel, one that loves the outcast, one that walks in humility and truth. You deserve to be in a community that reflects Christ, not one that betrays Him.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the One who matters most.

We read your words with a heavy heart, and we are so sorry. What you have experienced is a profound and wicked betrayal. No church, no pastor, no group of believers should ever treat someone the way you have been treated. To be met with threats, public denouncement, and calls for your execution when you came seeking prayer is a complete inversion of the heart of Christ. This was not your fault, and you did nothing to deserve it. The cruelty you have described is evil, and we grieve that it has been carried out in the name of the One who came to heal the brokenhearted.

You came to the right place when you sought Jesus. A church that does not protect the vulnerable is not operating as the church. The threats you are enduring every day and night are a terrible weight, and for that to continue for almost three years is unimaginable. We want you to know that we see your pain, and we believe you.

Because the threats are ongoing and have included talk of execution, your physical safety is the most urgent priority right now. Are there any avenues to distance yourself completely from this dangerous group and the street preachers they have stirred up? Is there even one person of genuine faith you trust who has stood apart from this abuse, or a different church, perhaps in a different town, that welcomes all who are hurting? You do not need to be anywhere near those who wish you harm.

Father, we lift up this dear brother to you. He has been wounded in the house of those who should have been his friends, and he is weary from constant threats. Lord, you are a shield around him. Please make a way where there seems to be no way. Lead him to a safe place and a true spiritual home where he will be loved and protected, not exploited. Bind up his broken heart and silence the lying voices that have spoken death over him. Renew his hope and let him know, deep in his spirit, that you have never left him and you never will. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

The very cruelty meant for your destruction is being woven into your eternal good. Never doubt that the Lord sees every threat uttered against you, and He has permitted this fiery trial for purposes you will one day bless Him for. Whenever the church has been persecuted, God has overruled it to make His people increase; and when He allows slander and venomous spite to fall upon one of His own, it serves to drive that soul deeper into Christ, to separate you from the world's false comforts, and to prove that your citizenship is in heaven. The enemies of your soul are unwittingly scattering you into a richer place of dependence upon your Lord alone.

Hear this and rest your entire weight upon it: when Jesus cried, "It is finished," He secured your ultimate triumph. Your former religion, your HIV, the plots of men who name His name yet act as wolves, none of these can undo what He accomplished for you. By His death He has routed the hosts of darkness; the battle remains fierce, indeed, but the war is won. The very men who preach against you and threaten execution have no power to touch your standing before God. Christ loved you and gave Himself for you, and if He did that when you were an enemy, how much more will He preserve you now that you are called by His name? Their threats are the echo of a defeated foe.

Do not confuse those who merely use churchly titles with the true Church of Christ. Many have a name to live but are dead, and they constitute no part of His building. Christ's own Church, the company of the blood-washed, would never sell a suffering soul to executioners. What you have encountered is the same spirit that has ever opposed the gospel, sometimes from within outward religious structures. Look away from them altogether. The Church into which you have been born again consists of all true believers, and whatever Christ has not built in it will be burned away. You are joined to that living body, not to a system that traffics in betrayal.

Consider this paradox: the day of their threatened death upon you, should God permit it, is far better than your birthday. Your birthday hung with uncertainty, but the day of a believer's death is the end of dying, the loss of all losses, the cure of every disease. That body you carry, marked by HIV, will on that day be made perfect, for death is the death of every enemy, including the last enemy, which is death itself. Until that day, you are already perfect in Christ Jesus. Though you say, "I am black, because the sun has looked upon me," He declares over you, "You are all fair, my love; there is no spot in you." Your perfection is not in your flesh or feelings but in your union with Him. The stripes He bore have healed your deepest malady, and no earthly threat can reverse that.

Cling, then, to a personal faith. What is all the bread in the world if you yourself do not feed upon it? Say with humble boldness, "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me, unworthy me, lost and ruined me, yet His." The men who plot against you cannot touch your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Go to the mercy-seat boldly; you have a right to enter, for you are made perfect by His one sacrifice. And when the threats echo in the night, answer them with this: "Perfect in Jesus." In that word, death changes into an angel, and the malice of men becomes a puff of smoke before the finished work of your Redeemer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have seen with your own eyes that even among those who follow Christ there are traitors, just as Judas walked with the twelve yet kissed his Master to betray Him for thirty pieces of silver. Do not let this shock you into despair, as if the whole body were corrupt because one member is diseased. The same priests who carried the law came with swords and staves against the Lord of glory. Will you then expect better treatment than your Master? He foreknew the betrayal and went to meet it; you too must not flee from the cross set before you. The wickedness of these men has made them mad, like the love of money that drives a soul to utter darkness. They think they serve God, but they do the deeds of hell, and their own consciences will one day scourge them until they know the truth of that word: it were better for that man if he had not been born.

But you, my brother, do not ask what you have done to deserve this. The question is not why you suffer, but what God is working through your suffering. For we who live are delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. Do you not see that through these threats and persecutions you are being conformed to His death? This is no small dignity. The world despises you, but heaven beholds you. They threaten to kill the body, but they cannot touch the soul that clings to Christ. What can they do? Send you sooner to the Lord, where there is no more death nor mourning. If you die for His name, you attain unto the resurrection in a manner beyond common men. Do not fear those who plot against you; they are but the handmaid’s children persecuting the son of the freewoman. Cast out the bondwoman and her son, says the Scripture, so shall it be with them. You are the heir of the promise, born not of flesh but of the Spirit, and your inheritance is incorruptible.

I speak plainly to you, and through you to those who call themselves Christians yet act as wild beasts. Such men, who betray the suffering and make the house of prayer a den of robbers, are worse than the heathen who know not God. They bring shame on the Church, and I would rebuke them openly if I stood among them. If they do not repent, let them be cast out from the funerals of the faithful, for they have no part in the fellowship of the saints. But you, stand firm. Do not let this trial cause you to stumble back into darkness. You were an exile from the household of God, now you are a son. Would you trade the truth for a fleeting peace? Even if the imams did not treat you so, their kindness cannot save; only Christ can give life. These three years of terror are a moment compared to the eternity of joy prepared for those who endure. Let the threats beat upon you like waves against a rock; you are founded on the stone which the builders rejected. Therefore, do not say in your heart, “Why has God abandoned me?” He is near, and He sees every secret plot. He will repay. Your part is to bless when cursed, to pray for those who despitefully use you, and to keep your eyes on the resurrection, where every tear will be wiped away and where no traitor, no false brother, and no persecutor shall enter.
