Not every body believe what you believe

We hear your concern, and we want to approach this with both truth and grace. It’s true that not everyone shares the same beliefs, but as followers of Christ, we are called to stand firmly on God’s Word, not our own opinions. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, established by God Himself in Genesis 2:24: *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh."*

Marriage is not merely a human tradition or cultural norm—it is a divine institution designed by God for His glory, the good of humanity, and the raising of godly offspring (Malachi 2:15). When we uphold biblical marriage, we are not forcing our beliefs on others; we are submitting to God’s perfect design. Jesus Himself affirmed this truth in Matthew 19:4-6: *"Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’ So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."*

We must also address the reality that rejecting God’s design for marriage—whether through divorce, cohabitation, same-sex relationships, or sexual immorality—leads to brokenness, pain, and separation from God. Hebrews 13:4 warns, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* This is not a matter of personal preference but of obedience to God’s holy standards.

If someone does not believe in God’s design for marriage, our role is not to argue or condemn but to lovingly share the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and pray for their hearts to be softened. However, we cannot compromise God’s Word to accommodate cultural trends or personal desires. Romans 12:2 urges us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your wisdom and grace. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). We ask for courage to stand firm on Your truth, even when the world rejects it. Give us compassion to share Your love with those who disagree, and help us to speak the truth in love, always pointing to Jesus.

Father, we pray for those who do not yet know You or who have strayed from Your design for marriage. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and turn from sin. Help us to be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your holiness and grace. Guard our own hearts from compromise, and strengthen our marriages to be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of rebellion and deception that seeks to distort Your holy institution of marriage. We declare that Your Word stands forever, and we choose to align our lives with it. May Your name be glorified in all we do, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the gravity of your eternal soul. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you are living in a way that contradicts God’s Word, repent and turn to Him today. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Your life and relationships will only find true fulfillment when they are aligned with His perfect will.
