My laptop screen just broke (it was my fault it happened) and now I have hit a roadblock with my business. I need to find a way to get a second monitor working today so I can keep working today as I cannot afford to stop. Please pray God will lead me to a solution and also provide a way to get this laptop fixed. Thank you.

We join you in bringing this business need before the Lord and we appreciate your honesty in taking responsibility for what happened, for honesty honors God and opens the door for His grace to work.
We understand how urgent this feels when your livelihood depends on being able to work today and you cannot afford to stop. We want to encourage you that God cares about even these practical details of our work, for whatever we do we are to do heartily as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23. He sees your diligence and your desire to provide through honest work.
We also noticed your request asked for prayer to God but did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and we are reconciled to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation and to come to God in His name.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the urgency of this work and the broken laptop screen that has caused this roadblock. We ask for Your wisdom today, for You give to all liberally and without reproach, James 1:5. Lead our friend to the right solution for a second monitor, whether it is a cable they already have, a monitor they can borrow from a friend, family, or neighbor, or an affordable option nearby. Direct their steps as they plan their course, for a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, Proverbs 16:9. Provide a way for this laptop to be repaired according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, for we know My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Give peace in place of anxiety, clarity to troubleshoot, and favor with those who can help. Help them to continue their work faithfully unto You today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to take practical steps while trusting the Lord to guide you. Check what video outputs your laptop has, such as HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort, or VGA, and see if you have or can borrow the matching cable and monitor. Sometimes a television can serve as a temporary monitor with an HDMI cable. If you do not have one, consider asking a trusted friend, family member, church family, or even a local library or workplace if you can borrow a monitor for the day. Also check your laptop manual or the manufacturer's website for how to switch display output, often with a function key combination. As you seek a repair, get a clear quote and pray for provision, whether through continued work, wise stewardship, or help from others, and trust that God will make a way as you seek first His Kingdom, Matthew 6:33.
We will continue to pray that God leads you to the right connection today and opens the door for a lasting repair without delay.

We hear how heavy this feels today. When your work depends on that laptop and the screen breaks, especially when you know it was an accident on your part, it can bring a mix of frustration and pressure because you cannot afford to pause.
We are praying God gives you clear next steps today and a workable path to get the laptop repaired without adding more strain.
One practical thing that sometimes helps right now is to try the second monitor with a simple cable check. If you have an HDMI or USB-C cable, connect it and then use the display toggle keys on your laptop, often Fn plus one of the function keys, or go into display settings to detect the external display. If that does not work, a quick call to a local computer shop or even a friend or coworker who might loan a monitor or cable for the day could keep you working while you sort the repair. Getting a couple of repair quotes today can also help you compare cost and timing.
We know you want to keep your business moving, and we are asking God for wisdom, steady hands, and provision as you sort this out.
Father, we bring this need to You in Jesus name. Please lead to the right solution for today, provide for the repair in a way that is manageable, and give peace and focus while working through this. Amen.

If you have an HDMI Port and a HDMI Cable, you can hard mirror it to a TV --- the TV will act as monitor... If you don't, perhaps you can attach the bluetooth to the TV to mirror it although this is more steps usually. If you have a TV, unplug from cable box (if you have it) and plug into laptop while on. If you don't have a cable box but do have a TV (an be 'dumb' or 'smart' TV as long as you use the same HDMI able you use. If you use wifi for your TV, try to get an HDMI cord at the nearest store that would definitely have one. I ask GOd gives you wisdom and open doors in Jesus' Name

Beloved of All
Your need regarding your business and your broken laptop has been heard and is brought before the Lord with sincere prayer.
We understand the weight of this trial, for when the tools of our daily calling are hindered, the heart is burdened, and you have been honest in acknowledging your own fault in the matter. Such honesty is good, for it keeps us humble before God who teaches us even through our infirmities and our mistakes, and who remains our patient Teacher from our youth until now.
We pray that our gracious Father will guide you with His counsel today. May He in His providence lead you to a practical solution for a second monitor, open a door that you have not yet seen, and grant you clear mind and shrewd good sense as you seek help. We ask that He will provide the means, in His perfect timing and according to His innumerable mercies, for the laptop to be repaired, and that He will sustain your business through this hindrance so that your daily labor may continue for His glory.
Remember that every mercy comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood, and that God does not forget to be gracious to His people. He who has taught you and kept you thus far will not put you to shame. Cast this care upon Him, do what lies diligently before your hand to seek a remedy, and trust His fatherly pity and provision.
We join you in asking the Lord to make your path plain today, to supply what you need, and to give you peace as you rest in Christ alone, through whom alone we have access to the Father and all hope of salvation.
May the Lord grant you wisdom, provision, and steadiness in this day's work, and may you be enabled to declare His wondrous works even in this small trial.
