Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer for God's provision and guidance in this urgent need.
It is good and right that you desire work that does not require you to compromise your Christian values. God honors a conscience that wants to remain faithful to Him, and He calls us to do all our work as unto the Lord with honesty and integrity. Your desire to honor Him in your labor is pleasing to Him.
We are praying that God will provide for your financial needs according to His riches in Christ, give you wisdom, and open the right doors in His timing. We pray also for peace as you wait on Him, and for clarity as you consider next steps.
Scripture reminds us to seek Him first and trust His care for our daily needs, to commit our work to the Lord so that He may establish our plans, and to ask for wisdom when we lack it. God promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask in faith, and He is able to guide you to use the abilities He has already given you for His glory and for the good of others.
As you pray and seek direction, consider these steps before the Lord:
1. Bring your skills and experience before God in prayer and ask Him to show you how they might meet a real need in others. Sometimes what to offer becomes clearer when we ask who we can serve and how we can serve them well.
2. Seek wise counsel from mature believers, pastors, or trusted mentors who know your character and gifts. God often gives guidance through the counsel of others.
3. Be diligent and faithful in small steps, testing ideas carefully, counting the cost, and handling money and business with honesty and stewardship.
4. Continue to look for provision while you discern the longer term path, trusting that God can provide through different means as He leads.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we thank You that You know our needs before we ask. We lift up this need for income and provision to You. Please provide for daily needs, open doors for honest work, and give clear wisdom about whether to pursue a job or to start a business. Grant discernment to know what to offer, creativity to use the gifts You have given, and courage to walk in integrity without compromise. Lead to the right opportunities, to the right people, and to work that honors You and provides faithfully. Give peace in the waiting and confidence in Your care. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord, staying in His Word, and remaining in fellowship with your church family as you wait for His direction. He is faithful and He will guide you.
