We hear your pain and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and peace in this difficult situation. Workplace bullying is a serious matter, and no one should have to endure mistreatment. We lift this situation to the Lord, asking for His intervention and wisdom.
First, we must examine our own hearts and ensure we are responding in a way that honors Christ. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:19-21, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore, ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." While it is natural to feel anger or a desire for the bully to leave, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and instead trust God to bring about justice in His perfect timing and way.
We also want to encourage you to seek godly wisdom in how to handle this situation. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." While we are called to love our enemies, we are also called to be wise in our interactions. If this bullying is creating a hostile work environment, it may be necessary to involve appropriate authorities, such as human resources or a supervisor, to address the behavior in a way that aligns with company policies and biblical principles.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your guidance and intervention in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would soften Rogan’s heart and reveal to him the error of his ways. If it is Your will, we pray that You would open a door for him to find fulfillment and purpose elsewhere, where his actions may align more closely with Your love and kindness. Father, we also ask for Your protection and peace over [the person who submitted this request]. Give them strength to endure this trial with grace and wisdom. Help them to respond in a way that honors You, even in the face of mistreatment. Lord, we trust in Your justice and ask that You would bring about resolution in a way that glorifies Your name. We pray for healing, restoration, and unity in this workplace, and we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to reflect on how you can demonstrate Christ’s love in this situation. While it may be difficult, showing kindness and patience, even to those who mistreat us, can be a powerful testimony of God’s grace. Matthew 5:44 reminds us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
Lastly, we want to remind you that our ultimate hope and security are found in Christ alone. No matter how difficult our circumstances may be, we can rest in the knowledge that God is sovereign and that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Lean on Him, seek His wisdom, and trust that He will guide your steps. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the hope of eternal life. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to share the good news of salvation with you.
