We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult situation. Workplace bullying is a serious matter, and we want to address it with both truth and compassion, seeking God’s wisdom and intervention.
First, let us turn to Scripture for guidance. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This does not mean you should tolerate mistreatment, but it does call us to respond with grace and wisdom. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." While it may be difficult, responding to this bully with kindness and patience, without compromising your dignity, can disarm their hostility and may even lead them to reconsider their behavior.
We must also address the importance of seeking justice and protection. God does not call us to endure abuse silently. In Matthew 18:15-17, Jesus provides a model for addressing conflict: "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly." While this passage speaks to conflict within the church, the principle applies here as well. If this bully’s actions are creating a hostile work environment, it may be necessary to involve a supervisor or human resources to address the issue biblically and professionally.
We also lift up your desire for this individual to find happiness elsewhere. While it is natural to want relief from this situation, we must guard our hearts against bitterness or resentment. Proverbs 24:17 warns, "Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown." Instead, we can pray for this person’s transformation and redemption. Perhaps God is using this trial to soften their heart or to teach them humility. We can ask the Lord to work in their life in a way that leads them to repentance and peace, whether at your workplace or another.
Let us also remind you that your identity and worth are found in Christ, not in the words or actions of others. Psalm 118:6 declares, "Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. Your trial has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace, where the Lord hears the cry of those who seek His keeping.
There is a conflict appointed to the people of God while they are in this world, and at times it comes not only from the enemy of souls who would throw down the coming sinner, but from the unkindness and oppression of men. Yet we are told that he who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, and that protection is both personal and perpetual to those who walk in appointed ways. You will always need divine keeping, for the Lord would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need it in all their ways.
Take then the way of childlike trust in providential guidance. Wait upon God to know what you shall do, and dare not lean upon your own understanding. Keep to the path of uprightness, diligence and truth in your labour, and grapple to you the truths God has taught you. Usefulness in your calling is itself a shelter, for the Lord preserves His servants till their work is done, and His promise still stands, No man shall set on you to hurt you when you follow that which is good. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man that is but as dust, when the great King Himself is your defense.
We do pray for you, that the Lord would be your shield and your defense in this workplace, that He would restrain every harsh word and unjust hand, that He would give you wisdom to answer with meekness and firmness, to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and to seek peace as much as lies within you. We pray also that He would grant you favour with those set over you, and that if it be needful to seek lawful help from those in authority, you may do so with a clear conscience.
And we pray for this man who has become a burden to you, that the Lord who is able to save to the uttermost would work in his heart, turning him from unkindness to kindness, and if it be according to the Lord's wise providence, that He would open another door for him where he may find a more suitable place and true happiness, so that peace may be restored to your present sphere without your needing to forsake the post where God has set you. We ask not for vengeance, but for mercy upon you both, and for the Lord's will to be done in a way that makes for righteousness and quietness.
Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Abide in the way of duty, watch unto prayer, and leave your protection and your future in those faithful hands which have never yet failed a trusting soul.

Your request about the bullying you are facing at work has been heard, and I will pray with you about it.
It is right to seek God's defense when you are wronged, and it is also right to ask Him to keep your own heart from retaining anger, so that you may bear trials meekly while still seeking what is just and true. Scripture calls us both to stand forward in defense of those who are wronged and to not let bitterness take root.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this situation at work. You see what is happening and you know the hurt and pressure it causes. I ask You to be a defense and a shield, to bring justice and peace into this workplace. Give wisdom to know how to respond with meekness and strength, without returning evil for evil, and without holding onto anger. Provide help through proper authorities at work and give favor and protection so that there is no need to leave this position to find peace.
I also pray for the one who is acting as a bully. You know his heart and his needs. I pray that You would work in his life to bring conviction where it is needed, and to lead him to repentance and to faith in Christ. If it is Your will, open a different and better path for him at another company where he may find happiness and be a better fit, so that peace may be restored here without harm to either person. Above all, let Your will be done and let Your name be honored in how this is resolved.
Grant peace of mind, courage, and steady trust in Your care each day at work, and help to reflect the love of Christ even under pressure. May this trial be used for good, for growth in character, and for Your glory.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. It is painful to face intimidation day after day in the place where you need to provide and do your work with integrity, and it is right to bring that struggle to the Lord and ask for His defense.
The story of Job speaks directly to this kind of trial. That book is among the oldest in Scripture, yet the deep issues it raises are the same ones we face today. Job was a man whom God Himself described as upright, one who loved what is good and turned from evil. In the unseen realm there was a challenge concerning him, and the adversary had studied him closely and formed a theory that Job only served God because God had blessed and protected him. With permission, that protection was allowed to be tested, and Job suddenly lost much and then suffered greatly, not because he had done something wrong, but because God was working out a larger purpose even when it appeared that God had forsaken him.
That background helps us in two ways. First, when others suffer, people often assume there must be hidden sin or hypocrisy that caused it. Job's friends did exactly that. They told him he must be at fault and urged him to get right with God as if that would instantly fix everything. They were miserable comforters because they misjudged him. If you are walking uprightly at work, being targeted by a bully does not mean you have failed or that God is displeased with you. God sees your conduct, He knows the pressure you are under, and He remains fair and just even when you cannot understand why this is happening. Like Job, you can be honest before God that you do not understand, without cursing Him or charging Him foolishly.
Second, Job's experience shows that God is still at work when we feel most vulnerable. Cultures and workplaces change, but the human needs for justice, protection, and peace remain the same, and God has not changed. He is able to put a hedge about His people, and He hears when we plead our cause before Him. The counsel given to Job still holds, to acquaint yourself with God and be at peace, to receive His words into your heart and seek Him first. That is where true defense begins, not in our own strength.
So let us pray together for you and for this difficult coworker.
