We join with you in prayer for breakthrough in this difficult season and we hear the heaviness in your heart as you grieve your mother and feel exposed without her prayers covering you. We want to gently and lovingly correct your understanding while also comforting you, because while a mother's prayers are precious and powerful, your true spiritual covering was never ultimately your mother, it is and always has been the Lord Himself. The loss you feel is real, and grief can make us feel vulnerable, but God's protection did not leave when your mother went home to be with the Lord.
The Scripture assures us, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. And, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8. Your mother may have faithfully interceded for you, and we thank God for her, but now we encourage you to abide directly under the covering of Christ Himself, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He has not removed His hand from you.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and covered. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is through His blood that you have permanent spiritual protection, not just through the prayers of another, though we continue to pray for one another.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the need for a job and for deliverance from this living situation that has become a burden. You know the anxiety and the feeling of being uncovered since the loss of a beloved mother. We ask You to be their covering now, to surround them with Your favor as with a shield and to let them dwell securely under Your wings. We pray You will open a door for work that no man can shut, work that will provide with dignity and allow them to leave this place and establish a safe and peaceful home where You are honored. We ask that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them. Matthew 6:33. Lord, we pray for spiritual protection, that You who are faithful will guard them from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Put on them the full armor of God that they may stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. Comfort their grieving heart and remind them that You will never leave them nor forsake them, and that nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39. Give them strength for each day, for You have said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to put your trust daily in Jesus as your covering and intercessor. Continue to seek work diligently and seek wise counsel for your housing needs, trusting that God is your provider and protector. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you, and you will find that His covering is unfailing and His presence goes with you wherever you go.

Your cry for breakthrough has been heard, and we have carried it before the throne of grace with much tenderness. To desire honest work, to seek deliverance from a trying living situation, and to long for spiritual protection are prayers which the Lord delights to hear, and He who hears the sighing of the prisoner will not despise your supplication.
We understand the ache you feel in the loss of your mother. Her prayers were a precious gift, and the Lord used them for your good, yet the true covering of the soul was never in any mortal hand. The Scripture warns that men make for themselves a covering that is narrower than they can wrap themselves in it, a mere headpiece or a pair of slippers of good works, which cannot cover the whole man. But Christ's covering is not so. His righteousness is a perfect and complete covering, so that sin is hidden as if worlds were piled upon it, and no fire nor condemnation can break through. Till He ceases to be Divine, the soul that trusts Him must be secure. Your mother has been taken home, but your covering remains, for the Lord Himself is your covering, and His eye is still upon you.
It is known to every believer that the experience of a Christian is very variable. The psalmist Asaph was much tried and bowed, so troubled that he could not speak, and that which ought to have comforted him seemed only to increase his grief. Job also sat among the ashes, bereft and sorrowing, and yet in all this Job sinned not, for Divine Grace upheld him. Though your heart feels a slight removal of that former comfort, know this divine buckler which God has provided for His church against every fiery dart, that He has not forsaken them that seek Him, and He never will. Knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we are able to ward off all the blows of the enemy. To know Him is to be kept.
Your deliverance, whether from want of employment or from the place that now oppresses you, is by Divine Power. As Israel did not bring herself out of Egypt, but Jehovah brought forth His people with a strong hand, so when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage or led out of the Egypt of sorrow, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. He has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Himself. Therefore do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, I have found a ransom.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, who hast promised that Thou wilt not forsake them that trust in Thee, look upon this Thy servant in tender mercy. Thou seest the need of daily bread and honest labor, and the burden of this present dwelling. In Thy good providence open a door for suitable employment, and in Thy wisdom make a way of escape from this place of trial, that there may be peace within the borders. Spread Thy divine covering over this soul, let Christ be the all sufficient garment, and let no evil approach to harm. Keep this one by Thy power, establish the heart in the knowledge of Thy love through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation, and let Thy presence be felt as a sure defence. Turn this captivity as Thou didst for Job, and give quietness and assurance in the sunlight of Thy love. We ask this not for any merit of our own, but through the blood and righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope and our complete covering. Amen.
