Freedom, Protection, Restoration and Breakthrough

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in lifting your family before our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope.
I thank God for your faithfulness as a mother who has raised your children in the ways of the Lord, and for your desire to see them walk in truth. The pain you describe, the division and exhaustion and the heavy burden placed upon your older daughter, is not hidden from God. He sees the confusion and the controlling influences that have isolated her from her family and her church community, and He hears your cry for freedom and restoration.
We will not ask God to bless what He calls outside His design, for we know that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sharing the intimacy of marriage belongs within that covenant alone. To treat a living arrangement outside of marriage as if it were marriage does not honor God and does not bring true peace. Therefore we pray not for God to strengthen that arrangement, but for God to deliver your daughter from it, to open her eyes to see it clearly, and to grant her the courage to walk out of darkness and into His light.
I pray with you that God will surround you and your children with His protection and keep you in His peace. Though affliction may press us beyond our own strength, God is faithful to deliver and to set us above fear, teaching us to trust Him more than to simply be removed from every difficulty. May He guard your hearts and minds, frustrate every scheme and word spoken against you, and break every chain that seeks to hold your daughter in confusion and dependence.
I pray that your older daughter will remember who she is in Christ. Through faith in Jesus she is made a daughter of God, adopted by grace, and called to put on Christ. Her worth is not in the approval of another family, nor in pleasing those who do not have rightful authority over her life. Her faith can make her whole, as we have seen in the holy writings where Christ honored the faith of those who came to Him with trust. May the Holy Spirit restore to her a thankful and gracious heart, a love for her family and for the church, and a hunger for righteousness. May she see her work as a blessing again, use wisdom to protect what God has entrusted to her, and no longer take on responsibilities or financial burdens that are not hers to bear, nor take on debt to sustain a life that is not pleasing to God.
I pray that God will expose what is done in darkness and bring it to light, that every plan to divide, to isolate, and to control will fail. May your daughter be released from the need to please those who exploit her and from imitating harsh and disrespectful ways. May God soften her heart to receive His conviction with humility, and restore to her a gentle, respectful and loving manner toward you and her siblings. May He return her to the safety and wisdom of her family and her church community, where she can be supported, counseled and strengthened in the truth.
For your younger daughter, I pray that God will keep her close to Himself and far from corrupting counsel, guarding her relationships in purity and wisdom.
And for the future, I pray as the Scriptures teach us to pray, that if God wills marriage for your daughter, He would provide a man who will be truly a husband and protector, a head who leads with piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God, not one who controls or exploits. Commit this matter into His hands and trust Him to provide what is best.
Continue to stand firm in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with faithful believers. Set loving but clear boundaries, seek wise counsel from your pastors, and keep entrusting your children to Jesus, pleading His blood and His mercy over them, for no weapon formed against His people shall finally prosper. May the Lord restore peace, unity, joy and freedom to your home, heal what has been broken, and fill you all with His Holy Spirit.
