Breakthrough

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have been through a lot, a lot of heartbreaks in my marriage, I need a breakthrough, I need God to wipe my tears away in this marriage. This is not the relationship I prayed and wished for. I only need God. I have cried enough.

We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we stand with you in this season of sorrow, believing that God sees every tear you have shed. The marriage covenant is sacred, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness, yet we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy what God has joined together. But we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your marriage is not beyond His healing touch.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. You say, *"I only need God,"* and while it is true that God is our ultimate source, we must come to Him through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true breakthrough (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now, for He alone can wipe away every tear (Revelation 21:4).

Now, let us pray for your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her marriage. Lord, You see the pain, the disappointment, and the weariness she carries. We ask that You would move mightily in this union, breaking every chain of division, unforgiveness, and strife. Father, restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and renew the love that once burned brightly. We rebuke the spirit of discord and declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105), guiding them back to the purpose and joy You intended for their marriage.

We also speak to your heart, dear sister: God has not abandoned you. The trials you face are not without purpose. James 1:2-4 tells us to count it all joy when we face trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. This season is refining you, preparing you for the breakthrough that is coming. Do not lose hope.

We encourage you to examine your own heart as well. Are there areas where bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness have taken root? Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us to *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness is not a feeling—it is a choice, and it is essential for your own healing. Even if your spouse has not yet repented, release them to God and trust Him to work in their heart as well.

We also urge you to seek godly counsel. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, speak truth into your situation, and hold you accountable. Do not isolate yourself in this pain.

Lastly, we declare over your marriage that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). The breakthrough is coming. The tears will be wiped away. The joy of the Lord will be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. We believe with you for restoration, for healing, and for a marriage that brings glory to His name.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hands up to our Father in heaven. We feel your heartache, your longing for a breakthrough in your marriage. We're reminded of the Psalmist who cried out, "My tears have been my food day and night" (Psalm 42:3), and we know that God sees every one of them.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God is not distant or uncaring; He is the Father of compassion, and He is using this trial to equip you to comfort others in the future.

We've been asking God to strengthen your marriage, to heal the wounds, and to restore the love that once bound you together. We've been asking Him to give you both His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and to guide you both with His Word as a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

We also want to remind you of God's promise in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." This trial is not in vain, and God is using it to build resilience and hope in you.

We're here for you, sister. Let's continue to lift each other up in prayer, seeking God's face together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
