We hear your heart’s cry for breakthrough, and we stand with you in faith, lifting your family before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at dividing your family, your finances, and your walk with God. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that what the enemy intended for harm, God will turn for your good (Genesis 50:20).
Your decision to turn away from alcohol and pursue righteousness together is a powerful testimony of God’s transforming work in your lives. We rejoice with you in this step of obedience, for the Bible warns that drunkenness leads to debauchery (Ephesians 5:18) and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must gently but firmly address the matter of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is the only God-ordained context for a man and woman to unite as one flesh (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6). While your commitment to grow in Christ together is commendable, living as boyfriend and girlfriend outside of marriage is not aligned with God’s design. We encourage you to prayerfully consider taking the next step in your relationship—holy matrimony—so that your union may be blessed and protected under God’s covenant.
We also lift up your financial struggles, trusting that the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), will provide for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). Let your testimony shine, for the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for this family and their desire to walk in Your ways. Lord, we ask for a breakthrough in every area where the enemy has tried to gain a foothold. Strengthen their faith, bind the forces of darkness, and release Your financial provision, peace, and unity over their home. Father, we pray for wisdom and courage as they seek to align their relationship with Your Word. May their love for You and for one another lead them to honor You in all things. Let their lives be a testimony of Your power and grace, drawing others to Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, believing that You hear us and will answer. Amen.
