Breakthrough

Please pray for a breakthrough that like Joseph is in his cell, I’m in my cell and that my cupbearer tells pharaoh and I am given my blessing I have been promised by God. I have recently found who my cupbearer is now I wait for him to remember me.

We understand your heart’s cry for breakthrough, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the same God who lifted Joseph from the prison to the palace is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think. Your reference to Joseph’s story is powerful, for it reminds us that even in seasons of waiting, God is at work behind the scenes, preparing the way for His promises to manifest in your life. You have waited, and now you have identified the one whom God may use as your "cupbearer"—the one who will speak on your behalf to bring about your release and blessing. This is no coincidence, but a divine appointment, and we rejoice with you in this revelation.

Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our trust is not in the cupbearer, nor in Pharaoh, nor in any human agency, but in the Lord alone. It is He who opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open. Your breakthrough is not dependent on whether this person remembers you in the right time or speaks favorably of you; it is dependent on the sovereign will of God, who has already promised you this blessing. Let this truth anchor your heart, so that even if the cupbearer forgets for a season, as Joseph’s did, you will not waver in faith. Remember, Joseph waited *two more years* after the cupbearer was restored before his breakthrough came. Those years were not wasted—they were part of God’s perfect timing.

We also urge you to examine your heart in this season. Are you seeking the *blessing* more than the *Blesser*? Are you longing for the breakthrough more than you are longing for the presence of God Himself? Joseph’s promotion was not the ultimate goal—it was a means for God to save many lives and to fulfill His greater purpose. Your breakthrough, too, is not just for your sake but for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom. Let your prayer be, as Jesus taught, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB). Surrender your timeline to Him, for His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect.

Now, we must address something critical in your request: you mentioned that God has promised you this blessing, but you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. This is not a small matter, for the Scriptures are clear that there is *no other name* under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). The apostle Peter declared, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through the blood of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray with authority and expectation. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Him alone for salvation. Without this, no breakthrough—no matter how great—will satisfy the deepest need of your soul.

Assuming you are a believer, we still must emphasize the power of praying *in Jesus’ name*. It is not a magical phrase, but a declaration of dependence on His authority and a recognition that our requests are aligned with His will. When we pray in His name, we are acknowledging that our desires are submitted to His lordship. So we encourage you: in all your prayers, come boldly before the throne, but come in the name of Jesus, for it is He who intercedes for you before the Father (Hebrews 7:25).

With these things in mind, let us pray together for your breakthrough:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are the God of breakthroughs, the One who turns prisons into palaces and mourning into dancing. Lord, we lift up Your child who is waiting in their "cell," trusting in Your promise just as Joseph did. You saw Joseph in that dark place, and You see our brother/sister now. You have not forgotten them, nor have You delayed beyond Your perfect timing.

Father, we ask that You move upon the heart of the one You have appointed as the "cupbearer" in this situation. Cause them to remember and to speak favorably, just as You caused Pharaoh’s cupbearer to finally remember Joseph. But more than that, Lord, we ask that You prepare the way before them, softening the hearts of those in authority, aligning every circumstance for Your glory. Let no scheme of the enemy delay what You have ordained. If there are spiritual strongholds or obstacles, we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus. Let every chain of delay, every spirit of forgetfulness, and every hindrance be removed by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Yet, Father, we also pray that Your will be done above all else. If there is any area of our brother’s/sister’s life that is not aligned with Your word—any unconfessed sin, any bitterness, any idolatry of the blessing over the Blesser—we ask that You reveal it and grant them the grace to repent. Purify their heart, Lord, so that when the breakthrough comes, it is not just for their benefit but for the expansion of Your kingdom.

We declare over them the words of Your servant Paul: *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB). Father, do what only You can do. Let this breakthrough be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a sign to the world that You are the God who keeps His promises.

And finally, Lord, we pray that in the waiting, You would draw our brother/sister closer to Yourself. Let them find their joy in You, their peace in Your presence, and their strength in Your word. May they say, as the psalmist did, *"I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness"* (Psalm 84:10, WEB). Let them know that even in the cell, they are not abandoned—for You are with them, and You are for them.

We thank You, Father, for the breakthrough that is coming. We trust You, and we give You all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Your breakthrough is nearer than you think. But even if the wait continues, know that God is with you, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on Him, not on the cupbearer. Your promotion comes from the Lord.

We're right there with you, friend, standing in faith for your breakthrough. We've been reflecting on your situation and felt led to share some more encouragement from God's Word.

First, let's remember the story of Moses and Aaron. Moses was in the palace, while Aaron was in the wilderness, but God used both of them to bring about the Israelites' deliverance. Just like Joseph's cupbearer, Aaron was in a position to speak on Moses' behalf. But remember, it was God who orchestrated everything, working through both Moses and Aaron to bring about His purpose.

So, we pray that God will give you divine appointments, just like He did for Moses and Aaron. We ask that He would open the right doors and bring the right people into your life, even in the midst of your current situation. And we trust that, just as He did with Moses and Aaron, God will use these appointments to bring about your breakthrough and His glory.

But let's also be reminded that, like Moses and Aaron, we must be ready and willing to do whatever God asks of us. We must be faithful in the small things, knowing that God will use them to bring about great things. So, we encourage you to keep seeking God's face, staying humble and obedient, and trusting that He is working everything together for your good.

And finally, let's not forget to rejoice in the Lord always. Even in the waiting, even in the uncertainty, we can find joy in knowing that God is in control. So, let's keep our hearts and minds fixed on Him, and let's trust that our breakthrough is coming, in His perfect timing.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We thank You for the divine appointments You've already set in motion, and we ask that You would continue to open the right doors and bring the right people into ###'s life. Help them to be ready and willing to do whatever You ask, and help them to find joy in You, even in the waiting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
