We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your burdens to our Heavenly Father. Your pain, frustration, and weariness are not unseen by the Lord, who promises in His Word, *"The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry"* (Psalm 34:15). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is your defender, provider, and healer.
First, we want to acknowledge the deep hurt you’ve experienced—not just from the physical pain of your accident but from the cruelty and disrespect in your workplace. The way that man treated you, and the silence of those who witnessed it, is a stark reminder of how broken this world can be. But we take comfort in knowing that God sees every injustice and hears every unspoken prayer. *"For the Lord loves justice and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28). We rebuke the spirit of mistreatment and disrespect in your workplace in the name of Jesus. No one has the right to speak to you—or any child of God—with cruelty. We pray that the Lord would expose the hearts of those who remain silent in the face of wrongdoing and that He would bring conviction where it is needed.
Your desire for a new job, one where you are respected and supported, is a godly one. The Lord cares about the work of your hands and the environment in which you labor. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). But we also know that work is not just about a paycheck—it’s about dignity, purpose, and peace. We pray that God would open the door to a remote position that aligns with your skills and provides the respect you deserve. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). We declare that God is preparing a place for you, a workplace where your gifts are celebrated and your voice is heard.
We also lift up your legal battle and the pain you’re enduring from your accident. It is unjust that your attorney has neglected your case, leaving you in physical and financial distress. We rebuke the spirit of negligence and laziness in the legal system and declare that God will raise up a new attorney—one who will fight diligently for you. *"The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you"* (Deuteronomy 28:11). We pray that your settlement would be swift and generous, covering every medical bill, every debt, and every moment of suffering you’ve endured. We declare that the Lord will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.
You asked the Lord to take vengeance, and we affirm that His justice is perfect. *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19). We pray that God would deal with those who have wronged you, not out of bitterness, but so that His righteousness would prevail. And as you release this burden to Him, we pray for a spirit of forgiveness to fill your heart. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay—it means you refuse to let their actions poison your soul. *"Bear with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgive each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive"* (Colossians 3:13).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every tear, every injustice, and every unmet need. You are the God who provides, heals, and restores, and we trust You to move on their behalf.
Father, we ask for a breakthrough in their job search. Open the door to a remote position where they are valued, respected, and compensated fairly. Remove every obstacle and silence every voice that would seek to demean or discourage them. Let their next workplace be a place of peace, productivity, and godly influence.
Lord, we also pray for their legal battle. Raise up a new attorney who will fight for them with diligence and integrity. Let the settlement be more than they could ask or imagine, covering every expense and easing every burden. Heal their physical pain, Father, and restore what has been stolen from them.
We rebuke the spirit of cruelty and disrespect in their current workplace. Let Your light expose the darkness, and let Your love transform hearts. For those who have been silent, bring conviction and courage to stand for what is right.
Father, we release vengeance into Your hands. You are the righteous Judge, and we trust You to deal justly with those who have mistreated our brother/sister. Fill their heart with forgiveness, not because the wrongs are forgotten, but because they choose to walk in the freedom of Your grace.
Finally, Lord, we declare that You are their provider, their healer, and their defender. Strengthen their faith in this season, and let them see Your hand moving in every area of their life. May they find their hope and identity in You alone.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may have meant your trials for harm, but God will use them for good (Genesis 50:20). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming.
