Good and Faithful Servant
My boyfriend may have prostate cancer and he has been experiencing symptoms while we await his biopsy. I did not hear from him all day today. He did not respond to any of my messages (we are long distance). I was so worried but then I saw that he had posted on social media seemingly today. I have been having problems with my phone so it's always possible that he tried to contact me and my phone didn't receive his messages (please pray for me about that problem with my phone). However, it is also possible that he is purposely not contacting me under the influence of spiritual warfare that has been targeting me through people for years in retaliation for me leaving the new age and coming back to Christ. He has behaved negatively toward me due to this warfare before. Please pray for me about all this and pray that if he is purposely ignoring me, that God would just end this relationship - I am going to end it if this is the case because his behavior toward me under the influence of this warfare hurts so much. I love him so much but there are a lot of problems in this relationship and I'm fairly certain it was never God's will for me to date him in the first place. Thank you.

We hear the deep concern and emotional turmoil in your heart as you navigate this difficult season. First, we want to lift up your boyfriend’s health before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and perfect peace to surround him as he awaits the biopsy results. The uncertainty of a potential cancer diagnosis is heavy, and we pray that God would grant him strength, clarity, and comfort in this time. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:14-15)

We also lift up your own heart, dear sister, as you carry the weight of worry and the pain of feeling ignored. It is understandable that you would feel anxious when communication falters, especially in a long-distance relationship during such a vulnerable time. We pray that God would calm your fears and give you wisdom to discern the truth of the situation. If your phone has been unreliable, we ask the Lord to intervene and restore clear communication, whether that be through your device or through other means. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

However, we must address the deeper concerns in your request with love and truth. Your relationship is currently built on a foundation that does not align with God’s design for marriage. The Bible is clear that intimacy, commitment, and covenant belong within the sacred bond of marriage between one man and one woman. The term "boyfriend" reflects a relationship that falls short of God’s best for you. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4) If this relationship is causing you pain, confusion, or spiritual warfare, it may be a sign that it is not of the Lord.

You mentioned that this relationship may never have been God’s will for you, and we encourage you to take that conviction seriously. The enemy often uses relationships to distract, discourage, and derail believers from God’s purpose. If your boyfriend is being influenced by spiritual warfare to treat you poorly, it is a red flag that this relationship may not be healthy or honoring to God. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14) If he is not a believer or is not pursuing Christ wholeheartedly, this relationship will only bring more heartache.

We also want to gently rebuke the idea that this relationship is worth holding onto if it is causing you such deep pain. You mentioned that you love him, but love should not be measured by emotional attachment alone. True love, as defined by Scripture, is patient, kind, and seeks the best for the other person. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) If this relationship is not reflecting these qualities, it may be time to surrender it to the Lord.

We pray that God would give you the strength to release this relationship if it is not His will for you. It is better to walk away from something that is causing you harm than to cling to it out of fear or loneliness. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) God has a plan for your life that is greater than any temporary relationship. We pray that He would reveal His will to you clearly and give you the courage to follow Him, even if it means letting go.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her boyfriend to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body if he is facing illness. Grant him peace, strength, and clarity as he awaits his biopsy results. We also ask for Your comfort and wisdom for this sister. If her phone is causing miscommunication, we pray that You would restore it or provide another way for her to connect with him. But Lord, we also ask that You would reveal the truth of this situation to her. If this relationship is not of You, give her the strength to walk away. Protect her heart from the enemy’s schemes and fill her with Your peace.

Father, we rebuke any spiritual warfare that may be influencing this relationship. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper, and we stand on Your promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. If this relationship is not honoring to You, we ask that You would bring it to an end in a way that glorifies Your name. Help this sister to trust in Your plan for her life, knowing that You have something far better in store for her.

Lord, we also pray for her salvation and her boyfriend’s salvation if they have not fully surrendered their lives to You. Remind them that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your ways.

We trust You, Father, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Give this sister the strength to surrender this relationship to You and the faith to believe that You will provide for her every need. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply challenging time. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted up your boyfriend’s health, the uncertainty of his biopsy results, and the emotional toll this season has taken on you. We’ve also been praying specifically for clarity and peace regarding your communication with him—asking the Lord to either mend the technical issues with your phone or reveal the truth behind his silence, whichever is His will.

We recognize the spiritual warfare you’ve described, and we’ve interceded against any schemes of the enemy meant to isolate, discourage, or wound you. The pain of feeling rejected or targeted is real, and we’ve asked God to shield your heart, give you discernment, and grant you the strength to release this relationship if it’s not aligned with His purpose for you. You’ve shown such courage in seeking His will above your own feelings, and we’ve prayed that He would honor that surrender with His peace and direction.

If the Lord has already answered any of these requests—whether through a clear sign, a change in circumstances, or an unexpected measure of comfort—we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the waiting continues or the answers aren’t what you hoped for, we want you to know we’re still here. Post this request again, and we’ll continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God is working even when we can’t see it.

Above all, we pray that you would feel His nearness in this season—that He would draw you closer to Himself, remind you of His love, and guide your steps as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name we pray.
