We hear your concern and lift this situation before the Lord with hearts full of compassion. First, we must gently address the nature of your request. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is a gift from God reserved for marriage between one man and one woman. The term "boyfriend" implies a relationship that is not yet under the covenant of marriage, and we are called to honor God with our bodies and relationships (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage in a way that honors God, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether it aligns with His will for your life.

That said, we do pray for your boyfriend’s health and comfort. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that any discomfort he may experience would be minimal and that You would grant him strength and peace. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of his medical team and give them wisdom in their care. Protect him from any complications and grant him relief according to Your will. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for both of you as you navigate this season, that you would seek God’s will above all else.

Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise and declare healing in Jesus' name.

If this relationship is not rooted in Christ or moving toward marriage, we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Let this be your foundation as you seek God’s best for your life. We pray that you would find strength and clarity in Him, and that your relationship would honor God in every way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We are glad you reached out. It is natural to feel on edge when someone you love is facing a medical test, especially when you know discomfort could trigger something more. Please encourage him to let the medical team know ahead of time about his history with flares. Most staff welcome that information and will move carefully, check in often, and make adjustments as needed. You are already doing what matters by praying and standing alongside him.

We pray: Father, we lift up this man to you as he prepares for this procedure. You know every detail of his body and every concern on his heart. Please calm any anxiety and keep his body steady. Give the doctors, nurses, and technicians wisdom and gentle hands. We ask that the discomfort would stay manageable and that no flare follows. Fill him with your peace that goes beyond what we can arrange, and give his girlfriend quiet confidence as she supports him through this. We trust him to your care, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Lord knows the desire of this prayer, and He is not far from the anxious heart. I will pray that the discomfort of this examination may be so restrained by His hand that it shall not stir up the other trouble, and that the man for whom you ask may be kept in calm trust. Commit the result to Him who sees the end from the beginning. Trust Him now, not waiting for some blaze of joy, for He is able to save and to sustain. May the great Physician steady the hands of those who examine him, and may the report be good if it be His will. May your friend find rest in the atoning sacrifice of Christ, and may your own heart be comforted likewise. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I will ask God to steady your ###’s body during the test, to keep the discomfort from bringing on a flare, and to grant wisdom to those treating him. Bodily suffering is a real burden, and the Church must not hesitate to pray for the sick.

But remember that the greater battle is often in the soul before it is in the body. Anxiety over a possible flare can tighten the body and make pain worse. There is nothing dreadful to the one who fears God. Present troubles become shadows, and Christ is the rock that cannot be shaken. Flee to Him for peace that holds even when symptoms come.

I can pray for your ###’s health and physical relief. I cannot ask God to bless or affirm a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship outside marriage, because that would be false comfort and would not serve your souls. That is not indifference to his pain. I will pray earnestly that the procedure passes without a flare, that his body remains calm, and that the outcome draws him, and you as well, nearer to the Lord who alone heals both body and soul.

Thank you for sharing this burden and allowing me to pray with you. I hear your concern for your boyfriend as he faces this procedure and the possibility of discomfort leading to a flare up, and I want to bring that concern to the Lord with you.

Scripture shows us that Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms when he writes that Jesus fulfilled what was spoken, surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sicknesses. Throughout the Gospels we see His power over sickness in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes He healed gradually, and sometimes He healed from a distance without even being present. He was not confined to one pattern, and that reminds us that God is free to work as He wills.

I believe very strongly that God still heals today. All true healing is from Him. He has built healing processes into our bodies, and those natural processes are themselves divine because He created them. At times He heals in a moment in a way we can feel, at other times He heals gradually through the body's recovery, through the wisdom He gives to doctors and medical care, and at other times He brings healing to the mind and heart, calming fear and bringing peace even while the body is still struggling.

At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others are not, and we should never assume that sickness or ongoing symptoms mean a person has sin in their life or lacks faith. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times about his own thorn in the flesh and was told that God's grace was sufficient, and he left a fellow worker behind because he was sick, and spoke of his own infirmities. Sickness is not a simple measure of spiritual strength, and healing evangelists who whip people into frenzies or promise healing for everyone or blame the sick do great harm. We can trust God's goodness and power without making false claims about His will in every case.

So I will pray for your boyfriend, asking the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father, to have mercy on him during this procedure. I will ask that the Lord would guide the hands and minds of those caring for him, that discomfort would be limited, that a flare up would be prevented if it be the Lord's will, and that God would grant him peace and strength. I will also pray for you, that God would give you peace as you care for him and that both of you would grow in trusting Jesus and walking in His ways. God designed our lives and our relationships for our good, and His best for intimacy and commitment is found within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, so I encourage you both to seek Him for wisdom and purity in your relationship as you seek Him for health.

May the Lord be near to you both, give you calm hearts, and help you to rest in His love and sovereign care whatever the outcome, knowing that He hears the prayers offered in Jesus name.

Please pray for me. I'm in a lot of turmoil about my boyfriend. We are in courtship but I know that I probably shouldn't have started a relationship with him because it began out of me being lonely (and possibly the same on his end) even though I genuinely care for him as a person and do love...
