Ex boyfriend

We lift up your ex-boyfriend before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Lord to guide the hands of the medical team performing the biopsy today. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray for clarity in the results, wisdom for the doctors, and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

We also take this moment to gently remind you, dear sister, that while it is natural to care for someone you once shared a relationship with, we must ensure our hearts and actions align with God’s will. The relationship you described as an "ex-boyfriend" suggests a season of courtship that did not lead to marriage. We encourage you to reflect on whether this relationship was honoring to God from the beginning. If there were any areas where it fell short of His standards, such as premarital intimacy, unequal yoking with a non-believer, or other unbiblical patterns, we urge you to seek repentance and healing in Christ. God’s design for relationships is clear: they are to be pursued with the intent of marriage, within the bounds of His Word, and under the lordship of Jesus.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB)

We pray for your ex-boyfriend’s salvation if he does not yet know the Lord. There is no greater healing than the redemption found in Jesus Christ, and no greater peace than the assurance of eternal life. If he is a believer, we ask that You strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You during this trial. If he is not, we plead for Your Holy Spirit to convict his heart and lead him to repentance and faith in Jesus.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray for a negative result from the biopsy, complete healing, and restoration of health. If this trial is part of Your sovereign plan, we ask that You use it to draw him, and all those around him, closer to You. Give him courage, hope, and unwavering trust in Your promises. Surround him with godly believers who can support him in prayer and encouragement.

We also pray for you, dear one. This situation may stir up emotions or memories, and we ask that You comfort your heart and help you release any lingering attachments that are not in line with Your will. May You fill the spaces in your heart with Your love, peace, and purpose. Guide you into relationships that honor You, whether that be in friendship, godly fellowship, or a future marriage that reflects Christ and the Church.

"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for healing, salvation, and Your perfect will to be done. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing your ex-boyfriend to us for prayer today. It means a lot that you still care about his wellbeing and want to cover him in prayer on a day that can feel so uncertain.

Waiting for a biopsy and then waiting for results is often the hardest part. It is normal to feel anxious, helpless, and to keep checking the clock. Your kindness in remembering him now is itself a meaningful way to support him, even from a distance.

If you are still in touch, a simple, brief message letting him know you are praying for him today can be a comfort without needing to revisit more of the past. And as you wait with him for news, we encourage you to lean on a trusted friend or family member for your own support as well, and to encourage him to stay close to his medical team for guidance and follow up.

We are joining you in prayer.

Father, we lift this man to You today as he has this biopsy. We ask for Your peace to be with him and for wisdom for the doctors and staff caring for him. We pray You would calm anxious thoughts while he waits for answers and surround him with care and support. Above all we ask that he would know Your nearness and love in this time, and that Your will would be done in his life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we bring this need before the throne of grace. There is much that may cause the heart to tremble when the physician must search out disease, and that trembling itself, as you have been reminded, unfits us to meet the difficulty. Therefore hear the word which the Lord speaks so often to His people, Fear not, for I will help thee.

We will pray for this man who faces the biopsy today. We ask the Lord, who is the great Physician, to give skill to the hands that perform it, to grant a true report, and if it be His will, to grant healing. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, and we do well to seek healing, yet we know that the least thing about Christ is healing, and that His leaves are for the healing of the nations. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in Him. The same Christ who said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, is able to heal the body and to heal the soul.

So we pray not only for a favorable report concerning the body, but for the deeper healing which every soul requires. We ask that this man may know that forgiveness is found in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. If he has not yet trusted in the Lord Jesus, we pray that this hour of anxiety may be made a mercy to his soul, that he may be brought to seek the Lord while He may be found, and to receive a new heart and the fear of the Lord which keeps men from departing from Him.

For you also who have brought this burden, we pray that you may be enabled to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Do not let anxiety be confined to yourself, but tell it unto the Lord in prayer. Fear not at all, for fear is weakening and dishonors God when it distrusts His power and love. To fear man or to fear what shall be on the morrow brings a snare, but to fear the Lord with holy reverence is the beginning of wisdom, and that holy fear flows from having received forgiveness through His precious blood.

May the Lord grant you both to look to Christ, in whom alone there is abundant healing virtue for every wound, and may you find that perfect love which casteth out tormenting fear.

We join with you in prayer:

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this man this day. Let Thy hand be upon the physicians, guide the biopsy, and order all things according to Thy wisdom and compassion. If it be Thy will, grant that no malignancy be found, and if affliction be appointed, grant sustaining grace and, if it please Thee, restoration to health. Above all, grant to him the healing of forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ, that he may be made whole in body and soul. Give peace to the one who has asked for prayer, and teach her to trust Thee fully and to walk in Thy holy ways. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

We have received your request and we are joining you in prayer for this man as he faces this biopsy and the uncertainty that comes with it.

We pray to our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation and healing, that He would be present with your ex-boyfriend today. We ask that God would grant wisdom and skill to the doctors, grant peace in place of fear while awaiting results, and grant mercy in the outcome. Above all we pray for his soul, that any affliction of the body would be an occasion to seek the Lord more deeply, to turn from sin and to trust fully in Christ for forgiveness and new life, knowing that God often uses bodily trials to draw our hearts toward the healing we most need.

We also pray for you as you carry this concern. May the Lord give you peace, comfort and wisdom as you entrust this man to God's care, and may you be strengthened to walk in a way that honors Christ in all your relationships, trusting His good design and His will for your life.

We will continue to pray that whatever the results may be, both of you would know the grace and hope that are found only in Jesus, and that God would be glorified through His care and healing.

In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your care to pray for him in this anxious time. Waiting for a biopsy and for results can bring a deep sense of fear, and it is right to bring that fear to the Lord in prayer.

We will join you in praying for your former boyfriend today, asking God for mercy, for wisdom for the doctors, and for the best possible outcome. Above all we pray for his soul, that through this trial he would be drawn to the Lord and come to know the true peace that only God can give.

Scripture tells us not to be afraid, for God is with us. He promises to strengthen us and to uphold us with His hand. That word for fear in the Bible is not about a phobia that paralyzes us, but about a reverent trust that turns us toward God and away from evil. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. It is the starting place and the sum of true understanding, to reverence Him, to hate evil and to depart from it, and to trust Him fully. When we walk in that reverence, His word says it brings health to our lives and peace to our hearts.

The Lord also speaks peace to His people. Jesus said, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot give lasting peace in a time of turmoil, but God can keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him because that person trusts in Him. That peace passes all human understanding and guards the heart and mind even when circumstances are uncertain.

God offers that peace through Jesus Christ. He has made a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to Him, so that the war within is ended. For those who are far off and for those who are near, His call is peace and healing through Christ. Without Him there is no lasting peace, but when we turn our lives over to Jesus and receive His forgiveness, we find a deep and abiding peace because we are no longer running from God.

We pray that this man will experience that peace, that he will call upon the Lord and find that God hears and is near, and that God's thoughts toward him are for peace and for good. May the Lord ordain peace for you as you wait as well, as you keep your eyes on Him and trust Him with the outcome.

We are praying with you for healing, for comfort, and most of all that both of you would know the life and peace that come through trusting Jesus Christ alone.
