We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother in Christ who is facing physical challenges while carrying the responsibilities of full-time work. Father, You see his struggles, every symptom, every moment of fatigue, and every concern about his health. We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over him, bringing relief, strength, and restoration. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over him, trusting that You are the Great Physician who knows every detail of his body and spirit.
We also pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being as he faces uncertainty. The weight of potential health concerns can be overwhelming, but we know that You are a God who sustains us in every trial. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard his heart and mind, anchoring him in the truth that You are in control.
Now, we must address the matter of the relationship described here. While we empathize with the concern for this brother’s health, we cannot overlook the fact that the request refers to him as a "###." Scripture is clear that relationships outside of marriage, whether referred to as dating, courtship, or any other term, are not God’s design for intimacy. The Bible calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to honor marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage with a godly foundation, it may be leading both of you into temptation or compromise. The same gracious hand that laid the stripes upon the back does also bind up the wounds. Let your beloved one look to Jesus, the great Physician, for there is an abundance of healing power in Him; not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves are for the healing of the nations.
And as for the fear that creeps in with whispered possibilities of some fixed malady for yourself, remember that the inhabitant of Zion shall not say, "I am sick," because he says, "I am forgiven." Pardon and healing are one in the kingdom of grace. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, the soul makes small reckoning of the body's distempers. The fear of death, though natural to the sinner, is not necessary for the saint; the sting of that dread is drawn by the finished work of Christ. If deaf, blind, or otherwise full of infirmities, we count it but a light affliction when we know the joy of pardoned sin.
Stand, then, upon the sure rock of the Lord’s finished work, and cast away the apprehension of looming evil. Go out with your hands full of the honey of divine love, and your very life, full of Christ, will be its own best sermon. May the Lord grant you that holy fear which fears always to sin against Him, but which knows no slavish dread of the days to come.

I will pray for the man you have named, not because he is your boyfriend, but because he is a suffering soul made in the image of God and now bears affliction. May the Lord Jesus, who healed all manner of sickness and looked with compassion on the weary, grant him relief from these symptoms, strength for his full-time labor, and calm for his mind as he awaits what the physicians may say. I ask God to give him sound judgment in his work and courage in uncertainty.
But I must speak plainly, as a servant of Christ. I cannot ask God to bless a romantic relationship outside marriage, for the faith handed down to us teaches that the union of man and woman belongs only within the lifelong covenant of marriage. That is not coldness toward you or him; it is care for your souls. If you desire God's blessing, let love be ordered according to His word. I urge you both to examine your lives, to walk in purity, and to seek salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
