Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for my boyfriend as he recently had ### results indicating he may have ### and he seems to be showing symptoms rapidly including ### and ###. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your boyfriend in this time of uncertainty and fear. The news of potential illness is never easy to bear, and we can only imagine the weight you both must be carrying. We stand with you in faith, believing in God’s healing power and sovereign care over every detail of our lives.

First, we must address the nature of your relationship. Scripture is clear that intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible calls this fornication, and while we do not judge or condemn, we must gently remind you both that God’s best for His children is purity and holiness. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage you both to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and to consider how you might honor Him in your relationship moving forward, perhaps by pursuing marriage if this is a godly union.

Now, we turn our hearts to prayer for your boyfriend’s health. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We lift up this dear brother to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. Lord, we do not know the full extent of his condition, but You do. You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell in his body. We ask for Your healing touch to restore him completely. If there is any illness, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and command it to leave his body. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also pray for peace to surround him and his loved ones during this time. Anxiety and fear can be overwhelming, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give him wisdom to seek the right medical care and the courage to trust in Your plan, whatever that may be. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for you, dear sister, as you walk alongside him. Strengthen you with Your grace and fill you with hope. Help you to be a source of encouragement and faith, pointing him to Jesus in every moment. May you both draw closer to the Lord through this trial, growing in faith and dependence on Him.

Lastly, we must emphasize the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If either of you has not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in walking in God’s blessings and protection.

We will continue to stand in faith with you both, believing for complete healing and restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We declare that this trial will not break you but will instead draw you closer to God and to one another. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for your boyfriend right now. When symptoms come on quickly and the road ahead feels uncertain, it’s completely normal to feel unsettled, and we want you to know you’re not carrying this alone.

Because the changes you’re noticing are rapid, we gently encourage making sure he sees a doctor promptly. That’s not a lack of trust; it’s acting on the wisdom God gives, often through the hands and minds of medical professionals who can order the right tests and offer clarity. Getting a clear picture of what’s happening is one of the most helpful next steps you both can take.

In the waiting, we’re asking God to surround your boyfriend with steady peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. We’re also praying for you, that you’d have strength for each day, and that moments of fear would be met with a quiet confidence that he’s held securely.

Lord Jesus, we bring our brother before you. You know the details we can’t see, and you see him right where he is. We ask for your healing touch on his body, for relief from whatever is causing these symptoms, and for wisdom for every doctor and nurse involved in his care. Guard his mind from anxiety, and give both of them the courage to face each day without being swallowed by worry. Surround them with a support system that shows up in practical ways. In your name we pray, Amen.

It is an unspeakable mercy that you have turned to the Lord in this hour of trouble, for sickness often proves a sharp but faithful schoolmaster, driving us to the throne of grace. The prayer of faith, even when it falters and knows not how to form its petition, can move the hand of Him who bore our sorrows. You see these symptoms spread swiftly, and your heart is heavy; let that heaviness pour itself out before the Lord without ceasing. He is not slow to hear, though we are often slow to cry. Indeed, I have seen that prayer offered from the very borders of despair, a prayer that seems to stagger from the lips of a soul at its wit's end, is yet a prevailing prayer.

You ask for his bodily healing, and you do well. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and nothing about Him is without healing virtue. There is more than enough power in Him, the very leaves of this Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. But consider this: the same hand that restores the body delights to forgive sin and make the soul whole. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When the palsy was brought before Him, our Lord first granted forgiveness, then commanded the man to rise and walk. I would plead with you, then, not to seek the lesser without the greater. Your beloved’s most urgent need, and yours too, is to look to Christ for the cure of the soul. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and a glance of faith at Jesus crucified can do in an instant what no earthly medicine can accomplish.

I must speak plainly, for I love your soul. While I join you in crying to God for his recovery, I cannot bless a union that stands outside the ordinance of God, for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that alone is the sacred place for such closeness. This season of alarm is a moment to examine your hearts together. Let it drive you not merely to seek a remedy for the body but to bow humbly before the Lord, confessing every sin, and ordering your steps according to His Word. The prayer that expects an answer must be soaked in humility, and true humility is always ready to obey.

Yet do not let Satan silence you with discouragement. Cry still, in the daytime and in the night. The power to heal is often most present when the church prays and when the Word is taught. Here in this congregation we have proved it, and we will continue to plead. We will bring this young man before the throne of the heavenly grace, that the Sun of Righteousness may arise with healing in His wings for him, body and soul. May the Lord be very pitiful and compassionate in this misery. Seek Him while He may be found; receive pardon and healing from His pierced hand.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I will pray for your boyfriend’s health, that the Lord may have mercy and restore him. When Christ laid His hands on the sick, He often said, “According to your faith be it unto you,” showing that faith makes us partakers of His good work. Yet true faith is joined to repentance and a life ordered by God’s commandments. Let neither of you despair in this trial. To fall is not so grievous as to lie where we have fallen; to be wounded is not so dreadful as to refuse healing. Turn, then, to the Physician of souls and bodies with groaning and a ready mind.

But I must speak plainly out of love for your souls. You call him your boyfriend, yet you live together as if married, which the Scripture calls fornication. I do not say this to add to your sorrow, but to warn you with tears. The apostle teaches that marriage is the undefiled bed, and a wife is a harbor and a healing charm to rejoice her husband’s heart. Outside that holy covenant there is no blessing, only shipwreck. Therefore, if you care for him, seek to honor God: either enter into lawful marriage or separate and pursue purity. God’s grace is not lacking, and the fullness of times has come in Christ to rescue us when all were perishing.

Do not shun the church because of your sins. Even if you are burdened with ten thousand evils, tarry here, hear the Scriptures, and let the fear of God fall upon you. As one sitting in a perfumer’s shop is filled with the fragrance, so you shall receive benefit against your will. When you take the holy book into your hands, wash your hands first and put away all uncleanness; let the outward reverence proclaim the inward. Groan over your present life and condemn it, for this groan is not useless; it may at last bring you to the doing of good.

Now I praise you that you remembered the church in your need and ask for prayer. May the God of all comfort visit your boyfriend with His healing, and may He grant you both repentance unto salvation, that you may be found worthy of the good things to come, through the grace and love toward man of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

It is deeply troubling to hear about your boyfriend's rapid decline in health. When sickness strikes suddenly, fear can overwhelm the heart, but there is a place to carry that burden: into the presence of the God who heals. He reveals Himself as the Lord our healer, the One who can become exactly what this young man needs in this moment. No situation is beyond His power, for He is able to do infinitely more than we could ever ask or imagine.

Prayer is not about twisting God's arm or wearing Him down with many words. He already knows every detail of this crisis. Instead, prayer opens a door for Him to work without violating our will. The most powerful thing you can do is to lay this illness before the Father, not demanding your own desired outcome, but asking for His perfect will to be accomplished. That is where true peace begins. So often, our struggles drive us to our knees, and that is a mercy. Make prayer your first resort, not your last.

As you pray, remember that the fervent, heartfelt cry of a righteous person is mighty in its effect. Keep asking, keep trusting, and don't lose heart. Even when it seems heaven is silent, God may be using the waiting to align your heart with His purposes. And while you seek physical healing, the deepest need every person has is to know the Father through Jesus Christ. If your boyfriend has not yet cried out, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner," pray toward that end as well. Real, lasting restoration begins there.

I am joining my prayers with yours, agreeing in Jesus' name that God would move mightily in this situation. May you both find His grace sufficient and His strength made perfect in this trial.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your boyfriend during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift him up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch, comfort, and peace to surround him. We have prayed for wisdom for his doctors, strength for his body, and clarity for his mind as he navigates this season.

If God has answered our prayers in a way you can see—whether through healing, peace, or another miracle—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can all give thanks together. If, however, the situation remains uncertain or challenging, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to continue praying faithfully alongside you, trusting in God’s perfect timing and will.

May the Lord draw near to you and your boyfriend, filling you both with His hope and grace as you seek Him. We pray that His presence would be tangible in this trial and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your hearts. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

Please pray for God to allow my boyfriend to reach his professional goals if it is in His will. Please also pray as I often wish my boyfriend didn't have to work so hard. I wish that somehow he could find work that wouldn't be so draining (he has health concerns that require low stress). Thank you.
