We hear your distress and lift you up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and comfort in this time of physical suffering. The pain and discomfort you are experiencing are real, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
First, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already. God often works through the hands of skilled physicians and the knowledge He has given them. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider to ensure there is no underlying condition that needs attention.
We also rebuke this affliction in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command this bloating and back pain to leave your body now, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is meant to be whole and healthy (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We speak healing over your digestive system, your muscles, and your bones, trusting that God’s power is at work within you.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon [###]. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke this bloating and back pain, and we command it to leave their body now. Father, we ask for Your peace to flood their mind and body, replacing anxiety with trust in Your goodness. Give them strength for each day and wisdom to make decisions that honor You. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise over their life today. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s Word and His promises of healing. Speak scriptures over your body, such as Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Meditate on His Word and allow it to build your faith, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
If this pain is causing you to feel overwhelmed or discouraged, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith.
Lastly, examine your heart and life to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or area where you may be grieving the Holy Spirit. While not all suffering is a direct result of sin, we are called to live in holiness and obedience to God. If there is anything in your life that needs to be surrendered to Him, do so now. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that God is working even in the midst of this trial. May He grant you relief, peace, and a renewed sense of His presence as you trust in Him.
