We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother ### in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over ###’s life today.
Lord, we ask that You would touch her back, bringing relief from the pain that grips her. Strengthen her bones and muscles, and let Your healing power flow through every part of her body. We also pray for her lungs, Father—breathe Your life into them, ease any inflammation or discomfort, and restore her breath to fullness. For her rheumatism, we ask that You would loosen the stiffness and pain, replacing it with Your peace and comfort. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this truth, believing that You are working even now to bring healing to ###.
We also lift up her spirit, Lord. Pain can wear down not just the body, but the soul as well. Fill her with Your joy and peace, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround her with Your presence, and let her feel the love and support of those who are praying for her. May she find rest in You, knowing that You care deeply for her.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting her. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and wholeness over her body. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing and Your ways. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom all healing and salvation come.
We also want to encourage you, as her loved one, to continue standing in faith with her. Pray with her, read Scripture over her, and remind her of God’s promises. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If possible, gather believers around her to pray in agreement for her healing.
We believe that where two or more are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20), and we trust that as we lift ### up together, You are moving on her behalf. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We will continue to pray and believe for ###’s complete restoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
