May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. It is a Christlike desire to ask blessing for those who have mocked you, used you, cursed you and turned against you, and to ask that God would do great things in your life that others may see His work.

Scripture calls us to show great love even toward our enemies. Our prayers are to be offered with thanksgiving, not with bitterness or cursing. Cursing and praying are far apart, and the mouth that has been given grace in Christ is to be kept pure from reviling. We are commanded to pray not only for the faithful but also for the unbelieving, and to bless those who have spoken against us rather than asking God to repay them. When we forgive, we reflect the mercy we have received through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other mediator and no other name by which we are saved.

We also remember that patience is shown over time and often in the midst of affliction and persecution. The Lord sees the wrong done against you and He will in His own time put all enemies under His feet. For now He calls His people to endure with faith, trusting that He is at work for good.

Let us pray together.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy to us in Christ Jesus. We ask You to have mercy on those who have mocked, used, cursed and turned against this dear one. Bring them to repentance and to knowledge of Your truth, and grant them Your grace and peace. Heal what has been broken and turn their hearts toward You.

And for the one who has been hurt, we ask that You comfort and strengthen them. Guard their heart from bitterness, fill their mouth with thanksgiving and blessing, and do great and gracious things in their life. Let Your goodness be evident so that those who have opposed them may hear and see what You have done, and may give glory to You. Keep them steadfast in faith and patient in trial, and make their life a testimony of Your love and power. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer reflects the heart Jesus calls us to have, to bless those who curse you and to pray for those who have mistreated you. It is painful to be mocked, used, and turned against, and God sees that hurt. Scripture is clear that He will bless those who bless His people and that He will deal justly with those who curse them, but He also calls you to release those who have hurt you into His hands and to ask for good for them rather than holding on to resentment.

That desire to pray for them is right. The love and blessing you have received from God through Jesus Christ was not given to you to keep to yourself, but to share with others, even with those who have opposed you. As you pray for them, you are walking in the way of Jesus, who prayed for those who rejected Him, and you leave the matter of justice to the Lord who goes before you and will not forsake you.

Your second request, that God would bless you so that others may hear of the great things He is doing in your life, is also understandable. It is good to want your life to be a testimony of His goodness and grace. Remember as you share that testimony that His blessing does not come because you have been especially benevolent or because you handled a difficult situation well. We do not receive from God on the basis of our own good deeds or performance, as if we could say, Lord, did you see how well I handled that. We receive on the basis of His promise.

That promise goes back to Abraham. God promised Abraham, in blessing I will bless you. Through faith in Jesus Christ you become a child of Abraham, not by natural descent and not by keeping the law, but by believing God as Abraham believed. Jesus opened the door for you to enter that covenant. He redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us when He hung on the tree, so that the blessing promised to Abraham might come to us through faith. Because His work for you in Jesus never ceases, your failure to perfectly keep the law cannot take away the blessing God has promised you.

So you can rehearse what God has done, how He brings His people out of bondage and into a place of blessing, not to boast in yourself but to point to Him. Tell of His mercy that brought you out, His faithfulness that sustains you, and His power that keeps you. That kind of testimony gives glory to His name and invites others, even those who have mocked you, to see that God is gracious and that He keeps His word.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in His love and fill you with His Spirit. May you walk in the conscious presence and fellowship of God, growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, and may your life show forth His goodness so that others may hear and be drawn to Him. In Jesus name we pray that He would work in the hearts of those who have hurt you, bring them to know His mercy, and bring peace where there has been strife.
