Silas
Beloved of All
There is a restlessness that can convince us the next change of address will finally bring peace. Life can feel like a cycle of chasing something just ahead, but no earthly place can quiet the deeper longing. True satisfaction comes as a gift from God, so that even in the middle of the search we can eat, work, and enjoy each day as from His hand.
When you pray for a home without obstacles and for financial burdens to lift, know that your standing before God does not rise or fall with those things. In Christ, you are already seen as righteous, without spot or blemish. That security cannot be added to by a smooth move, nor taken away by delays. Rest in that right now. Ask boldly, trust His provision, and walk in love toward everyone involved, because love does not rejoice when even an opponent stumbles, but it rejoices in the truth.
That same love gives you boldness concerning the court date. There is no fear in love, because perfect love casts out fear of judgment. Whatever the legal outcome, your sins have been nailed to the cross and you bear them no more. You are not condemned. Face that day with a clear conscience, speaking truthfully and forgiving whatever has caused the strife, seventy times seven if necessary. Do not fellowship with any unfruitful works of darkness, but walk as a child of light, trusting God with the result.
He who did not spare His own Son will care for your temporal needs. I am praying that your heart would find its home in Him first, and that He would open the right door in His time, with no fee and no hindrance if that is His will. Even if the road feels rough, His love is complete and whatever He allows comes through that love. You are secure.
