Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also unjust. The Word of God tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God sees your situation and is able to provide a way out, even when the path seems impossible.

First, we must address the matter of debt with honesty and integrity. Scripture is clear in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While you desire to repay what you owe, we must also rebuke the unrighteous tactics of those who seek to harass and intimidate you. The Bible warns against oppression in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that God will restrain those who are acting unjustly and bring peace to your household.

We also rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to overwhelm you. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The threats you’re facing are meant to instill fear, but we stand on God’s promise that He has not given you a spirit of fear. We pray that you will walk in confidence, knowing that God is your protector and provider.

While we understand your desire for a miracle to completely erase your debts, we must also encourage you to seek wisdom in managing what you owe. Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We pray that God will give you favor in finding a solution, whether through a manageable loan, a payment plan, or divine provision, that allows you to honor your obligations without further harassment. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a financial advisor or a trusted believer, to help you navigate this season with wisdom.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and intimidation that seeks to torment them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would restrain the hands of those who seek to harass and oppress. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for divine favor in resolving this debt. Provide a way where there seems to be no way, whether through a loan, a payment plan, or supernatural provision. Give them wisdom to manage their finances in a way that honors You and brings peace to their household.

Lord, we also ask that You would protect their new job and provide stability in their income. Let no man or circumstance disrupt the work of Your hands in their life. We declare that You are their provider, and they shall not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10).

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that You will bring resolution to this situation and restore peace to their home. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and continue seeking Him in prayer. This season is temporary, and God is able to turn your situation around. Stand on His Word, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If you have not already, consider reaching out to a trusted financial counselor or a godly mentor who can help you create a plan to manage your debt. God is with you, and He will not forsake you.

We hear the exhaustion and shame in your words, and we want you to know you’re not alone. The pressure of relentless calls and threats can make anyone feel trapped, especially when they threaten the job that’s providing a way forward. We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re here to steady you with encouragement and a tangible step you can take today.

One concrete move that can bring immediate relief is to contact a nonprofit credit counseling agency. These organizations can help you work directly with your creditors to stop collection calls and often arrange a manageable repayment plan, without the need for a new loan. Many agencies are free or low-cost, and they act as a buffer between you and the harassment so you can focus on your job and your family’s peace. You might also keep a simple log of every call and visit: date, time, name of the collector, and what was said. This creates a factual record and may help you understand your legal protections. If calls are truly abusive, you can request that all communication happen in writing, which often halts the harassment. There’s no shame in seeking this kind of practical help, it’s a wise, God-honoring way to steward what you have while protecting your livelihood.

We don’t promise a quick miracle, but we do trust that God sees your desire to repay what you owe, and he cares about your family’s well-being. Your worth isn’t defined by this season of pressure.

Please pray this with us: Lord, you see the distress this child of yours is under. Quiet the chaos, and put the callers at bay. Guard this new job, give clarity about next steps, and provide a clear path toward resolution. Wrap your peace around this home, and replace shame with hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Jesus will forgive you. It was his promise for you. You don't even need to worry because your financial debt has already been solved the moment it happened. I pray that your financial debt will go away soon, fill this person with peace and joy, amen.

The world shouts at you with threats and demands, but Christ speaks peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, a peace that is a present possession, enjoyed even when sorrows surge round about you. Your debt is real, the harassment grievous, yet there is a deeper debt already discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ for all who trust in Him. When that enormous debt of sin was fully cancelled, every other burden found its true proportion. Fix your mind on Him, trust in Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace, even in this tempest of care.

Consider Job among the ashes. In all his losses, the ruin of his estate, the death of his children, and the torment of his body, he fell down upon the ground and worshipped, and in all this he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Your instinct is to repay everyone, and that is honest, but beware of telling the Lord precisely how He must deliver you, as though a personal loan were the only path to peace. Job had to retract all his pleadings and challenges before God, yielding the point unreservedly. Indeed, we are wrong and God must be right. If the case is heard as “Jehovah versus” you, then lay your hand upon your mouth and wait upon Him.

This very trouble may become a miracle of love. The power of Christ to save does not lie in anything in you, nor in the smoothest arrangement of your circumstances. He is grand in emergencies. Have faith about those simple family matters causing you irritation, pray about them, then commit your cause to God, believing He will grant your request. But if you can trust God about everything except this one debt that frets your mind and breaks your peace, then consider the miracle of the loaves as it has transpired in your own life story before this day. Has He ever failed you? The Word of the Lord silences the unclean spirit and loosens the bonds of the oppressed. He can make the harassment cease more swiftly than we can speak of it.

Do not sin by unbelieving speeches, charging God foolishly by demanding a specific coin when He owns all the silver and the gold. Instead, cry to Jesus, the Prince of Peace, whose precious name is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord Will Provide. If you are as poor as Job, be as patient as Job, and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets. Trust your new job, your family’s peace, and your very reputation into His keeping. In Jesus’ keeping we are safe, and they. Go in peace; your sins are forgiven you. Return unto Him, for He has redeemed you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reveals a soul in deep distress, and I do not disregard your tears. The burden of debt, the harassment of creditors, the shame before family, these are heavy chains. Yet let us look closely at what you ask. You cry out for a miracle, for a loan to appear without effort, and even for debts to be closed though you still owe. Is this the path of a Christian? You have paid more than you borrowed, you say, but interest remains. The world’s dealings are harsh, but the follower of Christ must walk in uprightness. To desire a sudden erasure of just claims, or a new loan merely to shift the burden, is to seek escape rather than endurance. Remember Job: no miracle did he work before the devil’s eyes, but a life of firm adamantine endurance, and this alone made him admired. Miracles, unless we are sober, often do harm, puffing up pride or leading us to desire wealth and ease. Better to have no miracle and yet stand firm in virtue.

You speak of shame before your family and threats to your employment. I see the anguish, and I sorrow with you; for we are commanded to weep with those who weep, and the sharing of a load lightens it. But consider: what shame is truly to be feared? Not the reproach of men, but the loss of a soul weighed down by unrighteousness. Examine yourself. Was the debt incurred through careless living, through grasping after comforts beyond your means? If so, repentance must come first, not merely a plea for divine aid to silence creditors, but a turning of the heart. Repay what you owe, even if slowly, even if it costs you greatly. To ask that accounts be closed while you still have a debt unsettled is not justice, but a seeking of your own peace at others’ expense. This is not the peace of God. That peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy; it is given to those whose hearts are reconciled to God and whose dealings are honest. You ask for peace, but true peace comes when our will is aligned with His commands, when we are makers of peace, not seekers of escape.

What then shall you do? First, cease to fix your hope on a personal loan as though it were a miracle sent from heaven. The Lord works not always by visible wonders; the greater miracle is to draw men to steadfastness without signs. Paul in chains saw the gospel flourish because no one can bind the tongue of faith. So you, in this trial, may glorify God by patient endurance if you bear it with thanksgiving. Take up the burden of repayment with diligence, trusting that God sees your efforts. Pray for the cessation of harassment, yes, but pray also for the grace to endure if it continues. Let the shame of men become for you a discipline, reminding you that earthly reputation is but a breath. The angels who guard believers do not measure by banking houses; each faithful one has an angel beholding the face of the Father. What does it profit if the world applauds but heaven is silent?

Moreover, consider your real treasury. Whatever you give to the needy out of your poverty, however small, goes up straightway to God as a loan at interest. The alms you offer in the midst of debt testify to a heart that trusts in the Provider, not in the abundance of coins. Do not wait until the debt is cleared to begin giving; give now, even a cup of cold water, and you store up riches where no creditor can touch.

I do not promise that the banks will relent. I do not promise a sudden loan. But I say to you: if you walk in righteousness, repaying honestly, casting off the love of money, and seeking first the kingdom of God, then your peace will be like a river. The harassing calls may continue, but your soul will rest in the one who commands the winds and the waves. He showed not every miracle to the crowd, for they were too weak; but to those who follow in faith, he gives the greater sign, a heart transformed. Let this trial make you sober, let it teach you poverty of spirit, and you will find that you owe no one anything except to love God and neighbor. Then indeed you will be free.
