We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your financial burden. We have continued to lift you before the Lord and we remember your specific request for forgiveness and for deliverance from the weight of debt that has brought harassment from banks and debt collection agencies, shame upon your family and fear for your new job.
We have prayed with you for the Lord to intervene to stop the repeated calls and visits and threats of legal action and contact to your friends and family, and to protect your home and your peace. We have asked God to guard your new employment that you would not become unemployed again, and to honor the honest desire in your heart to repay everyone what you owe. We have also brought before the throne your prayer that the Lord would make a way through a personal loan without hassle or through His provision to bring resolution and to close these accounts in a just way, trusting that He sees that you have already paid more than you borrowed and that you are burdened by interest.
We take comfort in the promise of Philippians 4:19 that God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus, and we rest in knowing that He is close to the brokenhearted as shown in Psalm 34:18.
