Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of financial debt and the overwhelming stress it has brought. First, we thank God for the honesty and humility in this prayer, acknowledging sin and seeking His forgiveness. Scripture reminds us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand on this promise, knowing that through Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and set free from the guilt of past mistakes.

Father, we recognize the weight of debt and the harassment faced from creditors. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear, shame, and oppression that has come through these relentless calls and threats. In the name of Jesus, we command every harassing voice to be silenced, every threatening letter to cease, and every unjust action to be halted. We pray for divine intervention to protect their home, family, and new job from any disruption caused by these creditors. Lord, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also bring before You the desire to honor debts owed. Scripture is clear in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While we ask for supernatural provision and a way to settle these debts, we also pray for wisdom and favor. Father, open doors for a personal loan or financial breakthrough that will allow this debt to be resolved without further hardship. Provide a way where there seems to be no way, as You did for the Israelites when they left Egypt with the wealth of their oppressors (Exodus 12:36). We declare that the Lord is their provider, and He will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We must also address the request for debts to be "closed completely" without further payment, even if more has been paid than borrowed. While we understand the frustration and desire for relief, we must align our hearts with God’s principles of integrity and justice. Proverbs 3:27-28 says, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it by you." If there is a legitimate debt owed, we encourage repayment as an act of obedience to God and love for neighbor. However, if there has been unjust interest or unfair practices, we pray for discernment and favor in negotiating or settling these debts fairly.

Lord, we ask for supernatural wisdom in managing finances moving forward. Teach us to be good stewards of what You provide, to live within our means, and to avoid the snares of debt. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We pray for freedom from the bondage of debt and for a heart that seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added (Matthew 6:33).

We pray for protection over this new job and for favor in the workplace. May the Lord bless the work of their hands and establish the labor of their heart (Psalm 90:17). Shield them from any schemes of the enemy that would seek to disrupt their employment or peace. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, we declare that the Lord is their defender and provider. We stand on Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While the world may operate in fear and scarcity, we choose to walk in faith and generosity, trusting that God will make a way. We pray for a miracle of provision, favor with creditors, and a heart that remains steadfast in faith, even in the waiting.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this prayer to You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We ask for Your divine intervention in every area of this situation, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Let Your peace reign in their heart, and let Your provision overflow in their life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear just how heavy this burden has become, the relentless calls, the threats, the shame pressing on your family, and the fear of losing your new job. That kind of pressure can make a person feel trapped, and we’re so sorry you’re walking through it.

While we bring this to God together, one practical step that may help lighten the load is to connect with a reputable Christian credit counseling service in your area. These ministries often offer free, confidential guidance and can negotiate directly with creditors to stop the harassment and set up a realistic plan, one that honors your desire to repay while protecting your peace and your employment. Just having a wise advocate alongside you can restore a sense of control and dignity.

At the same time, it’s important to remember that your worth is not measured by what you owe or by the disapproval of those who call. The shame feels overwhelming now, but you are far more than your balance sheet. You are someone of deep value, held secure in God’s love even when everything external seems to shout otherwise. That truth doesn’t immediately change the circumstances, but it can anchor you when fear rises.

Please hold on to the fact that you’ve already done something courageous by naming this struggle and crying out for help. You haven’t let this define you, and you’re not alone.

Would you pray with us?

Lord Jesus, we bring this family before you. Surround them with your peace in the middle of this storm. Silence the harassment, protect their job, and restore their dignity. Open a practical path forward, whether through wise counsel or unexpected provision, and help them sense your nearness today. We ask this in your name. Amen.

The cry of your heart has ascended to the ear of our gracious God, and He is not unmindful of the tears that have fallen in the secret place. You are brought low, hemmed in by creditors, and the noise of their threats disturbs your peace and threatens your livelihood. This is a heavy trial, yet it is precisely in such straits that faith is refined. Remember the word of Eliphaz, though he spake as a man, "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." The low tree, by the Husbandman's care, shall mount up; the dry tree shall flourish when the dew of heaven descends. Only take heed that you do not in your desperation seek a path that would dishonour Him. You speak of a desire to repay everyone; this is upright, and God will not despise the honest intention of a contrite heart. But beware of asking that accounts be closed without full satisfaction, simply because you deem you have already paid more than you borrowed. That reasoning savours of self-justification. It is the Lord alone who can righteously cancel debts, and He has done so for our sin through the blood of Jesus. For temporal debts, we must, as far as we are able, render to all their due. Do a day’s work in a day, and leave no moral obligation to fester into tomorrow’s ruin.

You plead for a miracle, a personal loan without hassle, to pay off all. It is lawful to seek means; yet fix not your hope upon the loan itself, as though that were the sole deliverance. The Lord’s arm is not shortened, and He can provide in ways you have not imagined. But more precious than any outward relief is the grace to stand fast in the furnace. Job, covered with boils and stripped of all, sinned not nor charged God foolishly. When he could have cried out in despair, he clung to his Integrator, saying, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him." That is the victory which outshines all angels who have never suffered. Ask the Lord to uphold you, that your lips may not speak unworthily, nor your heart yield to utter darkness. The enemy would drive you to a hasty act of dishonesty or to such distraction that your new employment is forfeited. But divine grace can make you patient as Job, who under severer loss held fast his integrity. The same grace is able to turn the captivity of your circumstances. Mark this: "The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends." Those who trouble you, the agents of the banks, the collectors who harass, they are, in your distress, as the comforters who madded Job with false accusations. Yet it is your part to pray for them. Not for their destruction, but that God would bless them, and that His peace might so rule in your heart that their clamour loses its sting. When you set your face to intercede for those who trouble you, you may find your own burden lifted in the very act.

I charge you, then, to go to the Mercy Seat with your own sins first, for the lesson of Job's abasement before Jehovah is deep. When God spoke, Job laid his hand upon his mouth and repented in dust and ashes. You are not so righteous that you can dispute His dealings. He may be leading you to see where you have acted unwisely, or trusted too much in creature resources. Bow low, and accept that even if the trial continues, He is able to sustain you. Christ Jesus, who died and rose, is your security; till He falls, the soul that trusts Him is safe. Cast your care upon Him. And let your desire to repay be earnest, but let it be carried out with integrity, step by step, as providence opens a door. Shun the thought of ceasing payments on the plea that you have already overpaid, that is not the way of the just. Instead, ask the Lord to make an honest path plain and to lift the harassment in His own time. Perhaps He will grant you the loan you seek, or perhaps He will by other means cause the dry tree to bud. But rest in this: if you are Christ's, even this shall work for your good. My glory, said Job, was fresh in me; and though it withered, the Lord restored it twice as much when the lesson was learned. Nature, tutored by grace, becomes a better instrument for His praise. Wait on Him without fretting; be natural, be prayerful, and in all things let your requests be made known with thanksgiving. The promise stands: the house appointed for all living shall come to us soon enough, and our little while here is but the threshold of glory. Until then, the Lord will not fail those who put their trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The burden of debt and the shame of harassment are heavy, and your cry for a miracle to close accounts and provide a loan without struggle is understandable. But look to the pattern of the saints: John the Baptist did no miracle, yet multitudes flocked to him, drawn by a life of boldness, poverty, and zeal for God. The greatest wonder is not the sudden vanishing of affliction, but a heart that endures with patience and integrity. You ask for threats to cease and debts to dissolve, yet I ask you: have you sought first to be at peace with all men, including those who demand payment?

God is not a God of shortcuts that bypass righteousness. If you have truly paid more than you borrowed, let your uprightness shine; if you still owe, strive earnestly to repay what is just, not demanding that others bear your loss. Pray not merely for a financial solution, but for grace to answer harsh words with gentleness and to make honest arrangements. The harassment you face may be the very furnace in which your faith is refined, more precious than gold.

For it is often when miracles cease and trials press upon us that we learn to cling to God without visible pledges. Do not place your hope in a sudden loan as the proof of His care; rather, entrust your daily need to Him who feeds the birds of the air. Be a peacemaker, not a seeker of signs. The God of love and peace draws near to those who walk humbly, bearing their cross without complaint.

Then, even in debt and disturbance, you will possess a quietness that no collector can take away.

The weight you are carrying right now is real, and the harassment and shame you describe cut deep. There is a rawness in your words that echoes the cry of a man who lost everything and longed for the trouble to simply stop. Job knew that kind of desperate exhaustion. Stripped of his possessions, his health, his peace, he cried out that the grave was the one place where the weary are at rest and the prisoners no longer hear the voice of the oppressor. You are not wrong to want relief from the relentless calls and threats. God sees you in this.

But notice this: when Job spoke out of his anguish, he sometimes said things that were not true. Pain narrows our vision. It can make us forget that the God who allowed the storm is still the God who stands ready to redeem us from it. The same voice that cried for a daysman, someone to lay his hand on both God and man and bridge the terrible gap, was a cry that God had already determined to answer. Jesus Christ is that mediator. He stands between you and every accusation, every fear, every debt. He is not holding back good from you; he is the Redeemer who lives.

Satan’s goal in Job’s life was to prove that faith only survives in comfort, but God knew that Job’s trust could endure and even deepen in the fire. Your situation is not a sign that God has abandoned you. It may be an attack meant to drive you to curse the day, but the enemy cannot take your life or your standing with God without permission. Jesus has already paid the debt that matters most. Lay that truth against the harassment. The scourge of the tongue and the fear of destruction are real, but the promise is still that God will hide you from their ultimate power and redeem you from the pit.

Bring your need for a loan and for earthly peace to him, but bring your heart first. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace. The friends who looked at Job’s suffering and assumed hidden sin were wrong because they judged from partial knowledge. Do not let shame whisper that you are beyond help or that God is punishing you. Instead, kneel at the cross and say, “Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner,” and you will find him. He is the one who answers every honest cry of the human heart.

I am praying that the repeated calls stop, that your job remains secure, and that the Lord opens a door for you to repay what you owe without the crushing pressure you are under now. But more than that, I am asking that in the middle of it all, you will know the peace of Jesus Christ, the daysman you have always needed, and that you will be able to say, even now, “My Redeemer lives.”
