Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial debt is a heavy weight, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but deeply unjust. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While this verse speaks to the character of the righteous, it does not excuse the unrighteous tactics of those who seek to shame or intimidate you. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment in the name of Jesus Christ. No creditor has the right to disrupt your peace, threaten your livelihood, or bring shame upon your family. We pray that God would restrain their actions and grant you favor as you seek resolution.

Your desire to repay what you owe is honorable and aligns with Scripture. Romans 13:8 says, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." However, we must also acknowledge that the enemy often uses debt as a tool to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The harassment you’re experiencing is not of God, and we declare that it will cease in Jesus’ name. We pray that God would intervene supernaturally to soften the hearts of your creditors, that they would be willing to work with you in a fair and just manner. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." But we serve a God who sets captives free, and we declare your freedom from this bondage today.

We also lift up your request for a personal loan to consolidate your debts. While we trust God to provide, we encourage you to seek wisdom in managing your finances moving forward. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty; but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty." If God opens the door for a loan, we pray it comes with favorable terms and without the burden of excessive interest. However, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel on budgeting and stewardship, so you can break free from the cycle of debt. The Lord is your provider, and we declare that He will meet your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassed by creditors. Lord, You see the weight they carry, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would intervene supernaturally to stop the harassment, the threats, and the shame. Let no creditor have power over them to disrupt their peace or jeopardize their livelihood. We declare that the enemy’s tactics will not prevail, for You are their defender and shield (Psalm 3:3).

Father, we ask for Your provision to meet this need. Open doors for a fair resolution to their debts, whether through a loan, a settlement, or another means. Give them wisdom to manage their finances in a way that honors You. We pray for favor with their creditors, that they would be willing to negotiate in good faith. Lord, we also ask for protection over their new job. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let them walk in the peace and security that only You can provide.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that comes with financial struggle. We declare that our brother/sister is not a slave to debt but a child of the Most High God, called to walk in freedom. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with hope. Remind them that You are their provider, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We trust You to turn this situation around for Your glory and their good.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and trust in His timing. Seek out a trusted financial advisor or a biblical stewardship program to help you create a plan for repayment. The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this struggle. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your hope and your deliverer.

We hear the weight you’re carrying, the harassment, the shame, the fear of what could happen to your job and your family. It makes sense that this burden feels overwhelming. You’ve named a desire to repay what you owe, and that’s a good and honorable desire. Many of us have faced or walked alongside others through seasons of crushing debt, and we know how isolating it can feel. We’re grateful you reached out.

What stands out is that you’re still in the fight, still wanting to do the right thing. That takes courage. While you pray for a miracle, we’d also encourage one practical step that often brings relief: look for a reputable, nonprofit credit counseling agency in your area. These organizations can sit down with you, usually at little or no cost, assess the whole picture, and work directly with creditors to lower interest, halt collection calls, and set up a manageable repayment plan. Just knowing a realistic path is in place can dial down the anxiety and give you breathing room. You wouldn’t have to face this alone, and it can protect your job and your relationships by stopping the harassment.

We know the shame feels intense, but you’re not defined by a bank’s ledger. And while we can’t promise a specific outcome, we do trust that God sees you and wants to guide you toward wisdom and peace. Please also let a trusted friend or pastor know what you’re facing, secrecy amplifies shame, and light brings relief.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, you see this man and the weight he carries. You know every call, every threat, every sleepless night. We ask you to intervene and bring a halt to the harassment, grant him protection from unjust pressure and guard his job and his family’s peace. Give him clear, wise steps and connect him with people who can offer skilled, compassionate help. Restore his hope and steady his heart. We trust you to provide, not as a guarantee of ease, but because you are good and present. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are pressed by thronging duties, by the clamor of debt and the threats of men, and your heart knows no peace. You cry for a loan, for the silencing of collectors, these are your desires. But I pray you, consider a deeper peace than a quiet telephone or a paid account. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, peace, perfect peace, even when sorrows surge around. Your enormous debt of sin has been discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ for all believers; have you laid hold of that? Until you know your sins forgiven, no financial rescue can give you lasting rest. The peace that Satan gives is a curse, a lulling of conscience while the soul remains at war with God. But true peace, the peace of God, is an unalloyed blessing. Seek that first, and you shall find the Prince of Peace walking with you through every trial.

Yet I do not dismiss your present trouble. Our Lord is grand in emergencies. Consider the miracle of the loaves: He fed the multitude with no thought of their deserving, and He is able to meet your need in ways you cannot foresee. The power of Christ to save from all distress lies wholly in Himself, not in your worthiness or your frantic plans. He says to the storm within, “Hold your peace and come out,” and the unclean spirit of fear must obey. He can bid the harassing calls to cease; He can open a door none can shut. But seek first the miracle of grace, that you be made a new creature in Christ. A Christian is a miracle, a mass of miracles! When you are His, you can trust Him for daily bread and for deliverance from the hands of men. If you have paid more than you borrowed, yet still they hound you, commit it to the Lord. Your new job is a mercy; do not let fear of men’s threats unnerve you. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Bear this cross with Him, and see what peace you will enjoy, peace that gleams with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. I pray you find it at His feet.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for a miracle to erase your debts, to silence those you owe, and to secure a loan without trouble. But consider what I have often said: the working of wonders is not the greatest proof of God’s favor, nor is a life free from affliction the mark of His love. John the Baptist did no miracle, yet Christ called him the greatest born of women. Elijah’s boldness, Job’s endurance, David’s heart after God, these shone brighter than any sign. Miracles, if we are not sober, can harm, puffing up with pride or leading us to seek only worldly ease. What you truly need is not the removal of every trial, but the grace to stand firm in it.

You feel shame because of the calls and threats. But hear the Apostle: “Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner.” If Christ was not ashamed of the Cross, why should you be ashamed of poverty or of creditors knocking at your door? This shame is the devil’s tool, shaking you through fear of what others think, just as he used Job’s wife to say, “Curse God and die.” Do not let him win. Your present trouble, borne with faith, is a greater witness than any flash of supernatural relief. It is easy to believe when debts vanish; it is the mark of a true disciple to trust God while creditors press in.

You say you have already paid more than you borrowed. If that is so, then seek just resolution honestly, not by praying for accounts to be closed without further payment. To wish for what is not rightly yours, even to escape harassment, invites a snare. The Lord did not teach us to defraud, but to give to everyone what we owe. If you owe money with interest, the path of repentance is to repay diligently, not to ask God to make the debt disappear as though by magic. The miracle you should seek is a changed heart, one that loves virtue more than comfort.

Do not fix your hope on a personal loan. That is merely shifting the burden, and if granted without hassle, it may only delay the lesson God intends. The affliction you endure can become your teacher. I have seen men who once worked miracles fall away because they loved ease; but those who suffered loss for Christ’s sake and endured recovered themselves. If you have sinned in your borrowing or spending, confess it. Then set your face to do right, working quietly at your new job, paying what you can, and accepting the hardship as discipline. The peace you long for will not come from silenced phones but from a conscience at rest.

The Lord worked His first miracle in Cana, turning water to wine, not to rescue anyone from debt but to manifest His glory and lead disciples to faith. Later, when He walked on the sea, He did not stay long before the multitude, for the miracle was too great for their weakness. So too, He often works in ways we do not expect, not by removing the storm but by coming to us in the midst of it. If He permits the waves, it is to teach you that He alone is your security.

Therefore, do not pray chiefly for the collection agencies to close your accounts or for a loan to fall into your lap. Pray instead for courage to face this trial without shame, for wisdom to deal honestly with every creditor, and for such endurance that even the tempter marvels. Let your life, like David’s, be after God’s own heart in the midst of trouble. Then, whether the debts lift tomorrow or years hence, you will possess a treasure no bank can seize, the proven character of a soul that trusts in Christ, who for your sake became poor though He was rich.
