Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear the weight of your burden and we join with you before the Father in the name of Jesus, thanking Him that you have come asking for forgiveness and seeking His help, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and forgiveness of sins, as it is written 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We understand the shame and anxiety you feel from the constant calls, visits and threats, and the fear that this could jeopardize your new job and bring distress to your family. God cares deeply about your peace and your family’s peace. We are reminded Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also want to lovingly speak truth about debt. Your desire to repay everyone is right and honors God. Scripture is clear about our responsibility in borrowing. Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Proverbs 22:7 The borrower is servant to the lender. While the harassment and threats are distressing and we pray for them to cease, we cannot pray that what is legitimately owed would simply be erased if it is still owed, even if you feel you have already paid much in interest. The Lord honors honesty, integrity and faithfulness to our commitments. If interest is excessive or unjust, it is wise to seek godly counsel, to communicate honestly with lenders, to seek lawful help or financial counseling, and to negotiate a fair and clear repayment plan rather than hoping the debt will disappear without responsibility. We also urge caution about seeking another personal loan to pay old debts, as this can deepen the bondage unless it is part of a wise, disciplined plan. Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty.

We encourage you to bring your finances fully before the Lord, to seek first His Kingdom, to be diligent in your new job, to live within your means, to make a careful budget, and to trust Him as your provider. Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and thank You for this one who humbly confesses sin and asks for Your mercy. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing and for the assurance of Your grace. Lord, You see the debt, the interest owed, the calls and visits, the threats to contact family and friends, the shame and the fear of losing this new employment. We ask for Your divine peace to guard this heart and home. We ask for Your protection over this job, that it would be established and preserved for Your glory. We ask for wisdom and favor in dealing with every lender and collection agency, that harassment and intimidation would cease and that there would be respectful, lawful and peaceful communication. We pray that no one would come to disrupt the home and that You would shield the family from distress. Father, provide for every legitimate need, open doors for honest provision, grant wisdom to steward what is given, give diligence and self control to repay what is owed with integrity, and guide to wise counselors who can help create a just and manageable plan. Forgive any hasty borrowing and teach faithful stewardship going forward. Let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, provision and peace. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, Amen.

We hear both your desire to do what is right and repay what you owe, and your longing for the harassment to stop. Those are good and legitimate prayers.

One practical step that often helps is to get clear, calm support around the finances themselves. Consider reaching out to a reputable nonprofit credit counselor or a trusted financial advisor in your area who can look at the full picture with you, help you understand your rights regarding collection practices, and help you make a sustainable plan before taking on a new loan. Keep a simple written record of calls and visits, and where possible ask for communication in writing. Having one wise person beside you can also ease the pressure of facing banks alone and help you protect your job while you work through this.

We also encourage you to share this burden with a pastor or mature believer you trust so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our brother to You. You see his burden, his family, and his desire to act honestly. Grant him wisdom, steady work, peace at home, and guidance to the right help. Provide for his needs as You see fit and guard his heart with Your peace. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and the heaviness of your burden is not hidden from the Lord who sees both your outward trouble and the inward shame and fear that surrounds your household.

You have come in the name of Jesus asking first for forgiveness of sins, and there we must begin, for there is a debt far greater than any sum owed to bank or man. When it was learned that the enormous debt of sin had been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ, who did this for all believers, then was the heart at peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and there is no true peace until there is peace with God through His blood which has made a full atonement. Christ is our peace, and He has left us His own peace, not as the world gives. If you have trusted in Him alone for salvation, you may say, He is my peace, and from that fountain flows the crystal stream of peace in the conscience. Seek that peace first, for it is a filling peace and a well founded peace, peace in believing, and it will keep you even when sorrows are surging round.

Concerning the debts which now press upon you, I must speak plainly and in love, for I should dread to give peace to anyone at the expense of truth. It is right and good that you have expressed the desire to repay everyone. The Scripture says the wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are gracious and give. We cannot ask God to bless the closing of accounts by mere power so that what is justly owed need not be paid, nor to make a debt to vanish while the obligation remains. If interest and principal are lawfully owed, our prayer must not be that we escape what is due, but that God in His mercy will give us honesty, diligence and means to discharge it. A man may be poor and unable at once to pay, and the Lord pities the poor, yet the honest heart does not seek to be released by evasion, but to be enabled by provision.

Therefore let us pray not for a way to avoid payment, but for a way to meet it with integrity. And let us pray also for what you have rightly sought, that harassment and threats and repeated calls that disturb the peace of your family and friends would cease, that those to whom you owe money would act justly and within the bounds of the law, that your home would be kept in quietness, and that your new employment, which God has graciously provided, would be preserved. The Lord will bless His people with peace, and that peace is a blessing indeed, not the false peace which says peace, peace where there is no peace, but the peace which comes from lips that cannot lie and from a heart which cannot change.

Take then this counsel. Keep your mind stayed upon Him, for He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him. Cast your care upon Him daily. Be diligent in your calling and faithful to do the will of Jesus, for to do His will is rest. Walk transparently before those to whom you owe, as far as you are able, seeking wise and godly counsel for ordering your finances, making known your desire and your plan to repay, and asking for lawful and reasonable terms. Avoid hasty borrowing to cover borrowing, lest one burden be exchanged for another, but seek the Lord's provision in His way and time.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our peace and who by His blood has made atonement for sin, we ask for mercy upon this soul. Forgive all sin and grant the assurance of peace with God through faith in Christ. Grant perfect peace to a troubled heart and to a household that has known shame and fear. Lord, You know the weight of debt and the distress of calls and visits and threats. We ask that You would restrain all harassment and lawless intimidation, and move the hearts of creditors to act with justice and moderation. Provide for this family according to Your wisdom, give strength for daily labor, preserve this employment, grant favor and steadiness in it, and open a lawful and honest way to repay what is owed. Give wisdom to steward what is given, to live within Your provision, and to owe no man anything except to love him. Keep this home in quietness, guard loved ones far and near in Jesus keeping, and let Your peace which passes all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask not for escape from duty, but for grace to fulfill it, and for deliverance in Your perfect time and way. Amen.
