Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I thank You that You forgive sin through Christ alone and that You hear those who call on You. I lift up this one who is burdened by debt and by fear. Grant repentance and faith where needed, and the assurance of forgiveness through Jesus. You see the calls, the visits, the threats, the shame felt before family and friends, and the anxiety about work. Bring Your peace that passes understanding and guard heart and home. Provide for daily needs, grant wisdom to steward resources, open doors for honest work and for provision to repay what is owed, and give favor and calm in conversations with creditors. Restrain any unlawful harassment and help all communication to be truthful and respectful. Guide to wise counsel, help to make a realistic plan to repay debts including interest, and keep from any path of dishonesty or avoidance. If a loan is part of Your provision, grant it only as it would help to walk in integrity and not add to the burden, and give discernment to accept or decline according to Your will. Above all, reveal Yourself as You did to Job, so that trust grows even before answers come, and bring resolution in Your way and time. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to remember you before the Lord these past days and to lift up the heavy burden of financial debt that you shared, including the constant calls and visits from banks and collection agencies, the shame and disruption this has brought to your family, the threats of legal action and of contacting your friends and family, and the concern that ongoing harassment could jeopardize your new job and your peace at home.

We have been praying for the Lords divine intervention and miracle in your situation, that the harassment and repeated calls and visits would cease and that your home and family would be guarded in peace. We have prayed for protection over your employment, for wisdom and favor as you seek to honor your desire to repay what you owe, and for the Lords provision and open doors for a way to resolve these debts, including the personal loan you mentioned, without further hassle or burden. We have also prayed that even though you have already paid more than you borrowed, the Lord would bring a just and merciful resolution and lead you to honest and workable solutions with those to whom you owe money with interest. We hold to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that God will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and to the comfort of Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
