We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also unjust. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 37:21, *"The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* While you desire to honor your debts, the relentless pursuit by creditors has crossed into oppression, and we rebuke that spirit of harassment in Jesus’ name. The Lord sees your heart and your willingness to make things right, and He will provide a way where there seems to be no way.
First, we must address the matter of debt with wisdom and integrity. Scripture is clear that we are to owe no man anything except love (Romans 13:8). However, the enemy often uses financial bondage to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We pray that the Lord would intervene in the legal and financial systems that have become tools of oppression against you. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* But Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we declare that freedom over your life today.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that has come upon you and your family. The threats of legal action and the harassment of your loved ones are tactics of the enemy to destabilize you. But God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand in agreement with you that these harassing calls and visits will cease immediately. We pray that the Lord would send His angels to guard your home and your peace, and that no creditor would have the boldness to disturb you or your family again. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for divine favor in your new job. May the Lord establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17) and protect your employment from any interference caused by these financial struggles. We declare that your job is secure, and that your employers will see you as a person of integrity and value. Let no weapon formed against you prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and may the Lord open doors of opportunity for you to increase your income and manage your finances wisely.
Regarding your request for a personal loan, we pray that the Lord would provide a godly solution. However, we must also caution you to seek wisdom in any financial decision. Proverbs 22:26-27 warns, *"Don’t you be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"* Instead of seeking another loan, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s provision through other means—perhaps through a better-paying job, a side business, or even the generosity of the body of Christ. The Lord is your provider (Genesis 22:14), and He can make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also want to gently remind you that while you seek relief from your debts, it is important to remain faithful in tithes and offerings if you are able. Malachi 3:10-11 says, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe.”* Even in financial struggle, God honors those who honor Him with their firstfruits.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight they carry, and You are a God who delivers the oppressed. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring a supernatural resolution. Let the creditors be silenced, and let their calls and visits cease. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and that Your peace would reign in their home.
Father, we ask for Your provision in this time of need. Open doors of opportunity for them to increase their income and manage their finances wisely. Provide a way for them to honor their debts without falling into further bondage. We pray for favor in their new job, that it would be secure and prosperous. Let no one interfere with their livelihood, and let Your hand of protection be upon them.
Lord, we also ask for wisdom for this one as they navigate these financial challenges. Give them discernment to make godly decisions and the strength to resist any temptation to take on more debt. Let them trust in You as their provider, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that has tried to take hold of their life. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let them walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Jesus.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to seek counsel from wise and godly financial advisors or mentors within your church community. The body of Christ is here to support one another, and there may be resources or guidance available to help you navigate this season. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone in this struggle, and we believe that God will bring you through it with victory.
