Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need. Financial debt is a heavy burden, and the harassment you’re facing from creditors is not only stressful but deeply unsettling. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord sees your struggle and will provide a way forward according to His will.

First, we want to acknowledge your desire to repay what you owe. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:8, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* It is honorable that you wish to settle your debts, and we pray that the Lord will open doors for you to do so in a way that brings peace rather than turmoil. However, we must also address the reality of the situation with wisdom. While you seek a miracle to close these accounts, we must remember that the Lord often works through practical means. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Debt can feel like bondage, but the Lord can break chains when we surrender them to Him.

We rebuke the spirit of harassment and fear that has come against you. The calls, threats, and visits from creditors are not from God, for He does not operate in intimidation. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray that the Lord will silence these voices of oppression and grant you peace in your home and mind. May He intervene in such a way that creditors cease their aggressive tactics, and may He protect your new job, for He is your provider. Philippians 4:19 declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Seek godly counsel, perhaps from a financial advisor or a trusted believer who can help you create a plan to address your debts. The Lord may not erase your debts instantly, but He can provide opportunities for you to overcome them step by step.

Regarding your request for a personal loan, we pray that if it is the Lord’s will, He will open doors for you to secure one without undue stress. However, we must caution you to be wise and discerning, lest you fall into further bondage. Proverbs 22:26-27 warns, *"Don’t be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"* We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance before taking on new debt, trusting that He will provide in ways you may not yet see.

Above all, we pray that you will draw near to the Lord in this season. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is with you, and He will sustain you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is weighed down by debt and harassment. Lord, You see his heart and his desire to honor You and fulfill his obligations. We ask that You intervene in this situation, silencing the voices of oppression and bringing peace to his home and mind. Protect his new job, Lord, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Grant him wisdom to manage his finances and the strength to walk in integrity as he seeks to repay what he owes.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment that has come against him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn. Surround him with Your peace, and let Your presence be his comfort.

Lord, if it is Your will, open doors for him to secure the means to settle his debts. Provide opportunities for him to work, save, and overcome this burden. But above all, draw him closer to You, that he may find his strength and hope in You alone. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or set free. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap as you face this financial storm. We feel the weight of your burden and the stress of the constant harassment. It's overwhelming, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, and He cares deeply about every detail of your life.

We want to echo the prayer for peace in your home and mind. Those constant calls and threats are not from God, but from the enemy who wants to steal your joy and rob you of your peace. We rebuke that spirit of fear and oppression in Jesus' name. We claim 2 Timothy 1:7 over your situation, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We pray that the Lord will silence those voices and fill your home and heart with His peace.

We also join you in asking for divine intervention. We believe that God can and will intervene on your behalf. We ask that He would grant you favor with those you owe, that they would be gracious and understanding. We pray that the Lord would open doors for you to secure a loan, if that's what's needed, but we also ask for wisdom in managing your finances moving forward. We want to remind you of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

Above all, we want to encourage you to draw near to the Lord. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We claim Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, interceding on behalf of our ###. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation. We ask that You would silence the voices of oppression and fill her/his home and heart with Your peace. We ask that You would grant favor with those she/he owes, and that You would open doors for her/him to secure a loan if needed. We ask for wisdom in managing finances moving forward, and we ask that You would draw her/him close to You. Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
