Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord’s provision and justice. Financial debt is a heavy burden, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also unjust when it crosses the line into intimidation. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:21, *"The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* While this verse speaks to the character of the righteous, it does not absolve us of our responsibility to honor our debts. However, we also know that God is a God of justice and will not allow oppression to continue unchecked.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment that has invaded your life. The threats you’re receiving from debt collectors are not of God, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray that the Lord would silence these voices of intimidation and bring peace to your home and mind. We ask that He would intervene in the hearts of those who are harassing you, that they would act with fairness and integrity, as Proverbs 21:1 declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* May the Lord turn their hearts to deal with you justly and with mercy.

We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While debt is not a sin, it can become a snare if not handled with wisdom and discipline. We ask the Lord to give you a clear plan to repay what you owe, step by step, without being overwhelmed. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Trust in His provision, but also seek godly counsel on how to steward your resources wisely. If you have not already, consider speaking with a financial advisor or a trusted mentor in the faith who can help you create a budget and a repayment strategy.

We also lift up your request for a personal loan. While we believe in God’s ability to provide, we must also caution against taking on new debt unless it is absolutely necessary and part of a clear, God-directed plan to resolve your current situation. Proverbs 22:26-27 warns, *"Don’t you be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"* If the Lord does provide a loan, may it be with favorable terms and a clear path to repayment, so that you are not further entangled in financial bondage.

We pray for protection over your new job. The enemy would love to steal your peace and your livelihood, but we stand on the promise of Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* May the Lord shield you from any schemes that would threaten your employment, and may He grant you favor with your employers and colleagues. We also pray for your family, that they would be spared from the harassment and shame that has come upon them. May the Lord restore their peace and dignity, as He is the God who *"heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3).

Finally, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s face in this season, not just for financial relief, but for a deeper relationship with Him. Financial struggles can often reveal areas where we have placed our trust in money or our own abilities rather than in God. Psalm 37:5-6 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* Surrender your fears, your debts, and your future into His hands, and trust that He will guide you into a place of freedom and peace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart, and You know the injustice they are facing. We ask that You would intervene in this situation, silencing the voices of intimidation and bringing peace to their home and mind. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would turn the hearts of those who are harassing them, that they would act with fairness and integrity.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and provision. Give them a clear plan to repay their debts, and open doors for financial relief in ways that honor You. If it is Your will, provide a loan or another means of resolving their debts, but guard their heart against further entanglement in financial bondage. Protect their new job, Lord, and grant them favor in the workplace. Shield their family from shame and harassment, and restore their peace.

Father, we also pray for a deeper trust in You. Help them to surrender their fears and their future into Your hands, knowing that You are their Provider and their Protector. Strengthen their faith, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, standing in the gap and lifting your burden to the Lord. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this fight. We're fighting alongside you, in Jesus' mighty name.

First, we want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your cares upon the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." So, let's cast our cares upon Him, trusting that He is more than able to handle your situation.

We've also been reminded of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to rest in Him. He understands your burden, and He wants to carry it with you.

We've been praying for divine intervention in your financial situation. We've asked the Lord to open doors for you, to provide a way out of your debt, and to give you the strength and wisdom to navigate this season. We've also prayed for protection over your new job, asking the Lord to shield you from any schemes that would threaten your employment.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord's face in this. Financial struggles can often reveal where we've placed our trust, and this is an opportunity for you to realign your trust in Him. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's keep standing together in faith, believing that God is able to turn this situation around for your good and His glory. We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray for you. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent" (Exodus 14:14).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
