We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt request, lifting up your health, your precious baby, and the concerns on your heart. First, we want to acknowledge that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We are grateful that you have placed your trust in Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we join our sister in prayer, asking for Your healing touch upon her cough. We declare Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we ask that You would bring relief and restoration to her body, strengthening her as she carries this precious life within her.
We also lift up her baby, asking for Your divine protection over this little one. Lord, we pray that You would guard this child from all harm and illness, covering them with Your wings as it says in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We declare that no weapon formed against this baby shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your perfect plan for their life.
Concerning the placenta, we pray that You would guide it to the correct position according to Your will. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You knit this baby together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and that You hold all things together by Your power (Colossians 1:17). We ask for Your wisdom to guide the medical professionals involved in this pregnancy, and we pray for no complications from gestational diabetes or any other health concerns. Lord, we claim Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We also pray for the desires of her heart, asking that You would bless her with a healthy baby girl if it aligns with Your perfect will. We know that You have plans for this child, plans for peace and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we trust that You will fulfill the desires of her heart as she delights herself in You (Psalm 37:4).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may come through bad dreams. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would calm her mind and fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would replace those bad dreams with sweet dreams and visions of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we thank You for the trust she has placed in You, laying all her worries at Your feet. We encourage her to continue casting all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that she would find rest in Your presence and strength in Your promises.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. May Your will be done in this precious mother’s life and in the life of her baby, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
