We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious mother and her unborn child in prayer. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have approached God in His Son’s name.
Father, we ask You to heal this persistent cough and strengthen this dear mother’s body. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. We also pray for protection over this little one in the womb, that no illness or harm would touch her. Lord, we ask You to guide the placenta to its proper place, trusting in Your perfect design for pregnancy and childbirth. You knit this baby together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and we trust You to sustain both mother and child through every moment of this journey.
We stand against the spirit of fear that may come with gestational diabetes and unknown health concerns. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any anxiety or worry, declaring that this pregnancy will be free from complications as You watch over them. Father, we also pray for the cancellation of all bad dreams, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that this mother would rest in Your peace.
Lord, we lift up the desire for a healthy baby girl, trusting in Your sovereign will. Whether You choose to bless them with a daughter or another precious child, we pray that this baby would grow strong and whole in the womb, prepared to be born into a world where she will come to know You as Savior and Lord. May this mother feel Your presence surrounding her, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to gently encourage this mother to seek godly counsel and medical care, for You often work through the wisdom and skill You have given to doctors and caregivers. Let her not neglect the practical steps You provide while trusting in Your supernatural intervention.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this mother and her baby experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may she continue to grow in her relationship with You as she prepares to welcome this child into the world. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
