Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for commanding us to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3 -- for all Family, Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. And help let the Word become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31, and make disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the commandment to honor our fathers and mothers, as it is written, "Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with a promise; that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB). We lift up the patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives, asking that You, Father, would pour out Your blessings, honor, and grace upon them. May they be strengthened in every way—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and temporally—so that they may walk in the fullness of life and godliness that You have promised to those who love You (2 Peter 1:3 WEB).

We pray that their souls would prosper even as their health and well-being prosper, just as Your word declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would establish them in the foundational truths of Your Word, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18 WEB). May they be rooted and grounded in love, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB).

Open the eyes of their understanding, Holy Spirit, that they may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19 WEB). Strengthen them to understand the Scriptures, that they may crave the sincere milk of Your Word and grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2 WEB). Let Your Word become flesh in their lives, that they may not only hear but also do what You command, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would keep them from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them from evil, as Your Son taught us to pray (Matthew 6:13 WEB), and rebuke the evil one and restrain those who would seek to harm them (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 WEB). Grant them peace within their homes and communities, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6-7 WEB). Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB), and wash them with the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26 WEB).

We also lift up those who are under their care, that they too may grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with men (Luke 2:52 WEB). May they be rooted in love, understanding the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love, which surpasses all knowledge (Ephesians 3:18-19 WEB). Let them abide in You, Lord Jesus, so that they may bear much fruit and see their prayers answered as Your words abide in them (John 15:7-8 WEB). May their joy be made complete as they walk in obedience to Your commands (John 15:11 WEB).

We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, disrespect, or dishonor that may seek to undermine the godly authority You have established in the home. For it is written, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1 WEB). We pray that families would be united in love, humility, and mutual submission, as each member seeks to honor You above all else.

Finally, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow (James 1:17 WEB). We thank You for the gift of family and for the promise that those who honor their parents will be blessed. May we all grow in the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for the patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives, dear brother/sister. We echo your heartfelt plea for blessings, honor, and grace upon them. May they indeed be strengthened in every way, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and temporally, walking in the fullness of life and godliness that our Lord has promised.

We also lift up the families under their care, praying that they too may grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with men. May they be rooted in love, understanding the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ's love, which surpasses all knowledge. May they abide in the Lord Jesus, bearing much fruit and seeing their prayers answered, as His words abide in them. We pray that their joy may be made complete as they walk in obedience to His commands.

In addition, we intercede for their protection. We ask that the Lord would keep them from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them, Lord, from evil, and rebuke the evil one. Grant them peace within their homes and communities, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Lastly, we thank You, Father, for the gift of family and for the promise that those who honor their parents will be blessed. May we all grow in the knowledge of Your will, in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, and being fruitful in every good work. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
