Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for commanding us to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3 -- Powerfully provide Your limitless Mercy to pray for their Spiritual & Physical Growth, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. And help let the Word become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31, and make disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

We lift our hearts together in gratitude for the sacred calling to honor our fathers and mothers, as commanded in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." Father, we come before You with reverence, asking that You pour out Your boundless mercy upon the patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives. May they experience spiritual growth and physical vitality, even as their souls prosper, just as 3 John 1:2 declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

Lord, we earnestly pray that they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as 2 Peter 3:18 instructs, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." Strengthen them in the foundational truths of Your Word, that they may be established in the elementary principles of faith, as Hebrews 5:12 and 6:1-3 encourage. May they mature in Christ, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding, Holy Spirit, that we may be enlightened with wisdom and revelation, as Ephesians 1:17-18 promises. Root and ground us in love, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, and that we may comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love, as Ephesians 3:16-19 describes. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, as You did for the disciples in Luke 24:45, and create in us a hunger for Your Word, that we may crave the sincere milk of the truth, as 1 Peter 2:2 urges. May we not only hear Your Word but also do what it says, as James 1:22 admonishes, so that we may bear fruit in every good work and grow in the knowledge of God, as Colossians 1:10 encourages.

Lord Jesus, may Your Word become flesh in our lives, that we may walk in abiding communion with You and the Holy Spirit, as 1 John 1:1-3 describes. Help us to continue in Your Word, that we may be true disciples, as John 8:31 declares, and empower us to make disciples of all nations, fulfilling the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20. Let us bear fruit that remains, as You promised in John 15:7-8, "If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." May our joy be made complete as we abide in You and Your love, as John 15:24 assures.

We plead the blood of Jesus over our patriarchs and matriarchs, asking that You keep them from all hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them from evil, as we pray in the Lord’s Prayer, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). Restrain and rebuke the evil one and those who seek to harm them, as 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 declares, "and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." Grant them peace within their homes, as Psalm 122:7 prays, "Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces," even as we intercede for the peace of Jerusalem, as Psalm 122:6 commands.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. Sanctify us in Your truth, as Jesus prayed in John 17:17, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." Wash us with the water of Your Word, as Ephesians 5:26 describes, that we may be holy and blameless before You. Keep us in the world but guard us from the evil one, as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, "I do not pray that You would take them from the world, but that You would keep them from the evil one." May we walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit that glorifies You and advancing Your kingdom in all we do.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.
