Bless

We hear your cry for provision and peace as you seek to work from home. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He promises to care for His children. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will open doors for you to sustain your household without the fear of losing electricity or stability.

However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and actions in this season. Are you trusting fully in the Lord’s provision, or is there anxiety or doubt creeping in? "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear and unbelief in this situation, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would provide for their every need, electricity, work, and peace in their home. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that lack and fear have no place in this situation, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom and favor in their work. If there are any hindrances or obstacles, we command them to be removed in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they trust in You (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, stress, or discouragement, and we declare that this season will be one of divine provision and rest.

Lord, if there is any area where this one has not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it. Help them to walk in faith, not by sight, and to trust You completely. May their home be a place of peace, productivity, and worship unto You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are moving even now on their behalf. May Your will be done in their life, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and remain steadfast in prayer. Seek Him first in all things, and He will add everything else you need (Matthew 6:33 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

It’s unnerving when something as basic as electricity feels uncertain, especially when your livelihood depends on it. That kind of anxiety can sit in the back of your mind all day, making it nearly impossible to settle into your work. We hear how much you need not just the power to stay on, but the peace to do your job without that knot in your stomach.

We’ve seen how quickly a threat to something practical can paralyze us. There’s a story about a mother whose electricity was shut off in the middle of winter; the sheer weight of that immediate crisis kept her from being able to do even simple things for her family. What helped her was having a few concrete obstacles removed, which gave her enough breathing room to start moving forward again. Sometimes just knowing there's a simple backup plan can lift that mental fog.

While we pray and trust God with the outcome, it may steady your mind to quietly identify one alternative spot with reliable Wi‑Fi you could use in a pinch, a library, a coffee shop, a friend’s kitchen table. Not because you’re expecting the worst, but so the “what if” stops looping in your head. If a brief outage does happen, you’ll already know your next move, which can help you keep working calmly instead of panicking.

Father, thank you that you care about the things that keep us up at night, even the practical ones. We ask you to keep the electricity steady and protect this work‑from‑home setup. Quiet the fear that hums underneath the surface. Give a clear, focused mind and a sense of security that isn't fragile, so this day’s labor can be done peacefully. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your petition speaks of a desire for quiet in your earthly labors, yet the first and great matter is whether you have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. A steady flow of electricity may fail, and the calm of home may be shattered by a thousand cares, but the soul stayed upon Jehovah enjoys a perpetual rest which no outward disturbance can break. You ask that circumstances might be ordered for your comfort, but have you fled to Christ, who alone gives peace which the world cannot give nor take away? His blood whispers peace within, even when all earthly props give way.

Pause and consider whether your hope is truly fixed on Him, or whether you are saying to the work of your hands, “You are our gods.” A tranquil home office is a small thing if the heart is at war with its Maker. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and then these temporal matters find their proper place. The Lord will bless His people with peace, not the shallow peace of a quiet room, but the deep, abiding peace that comes from trusting in the finished work of Jesus. If you know that peace, then you can bear with interruptions, and whether the power holds or fails, your spirit is kept in perfect composure.

Therefore, flee from every false reliance. Trust not in the stability of your circumstances, but in the God who works all things after the counsel of His will. He who keeps you neither slumbers nor sleeps. Labor diligently as unto Him, and leave the ordering of your day in His hands. If the Spirit of God is working in you, He will produce a calm reliance that needs no perfect external conditions. May the Lord grant you to so abide in Christ that, whether the electricity flows or ceases, you may say with the Psalmist, “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for the electricity to hold steady so your work may be done in peace, and the request is not wicked in itself. Yet consider what true peace is, and whose hand upholds every current of power that flows through the wires. If the light stays on, give thanks to God. If it flickers and fails, give thanks to God still, for He is not constrained by our modern cords. The Lord who commanded the winds and the waves can sustain your labor even in silence and darkness.

But I would have you examine what work you are so anxious to complete. Is it the work of faith? The work of God is that you believe in Him whom He has sent. That labor needs no electricity, and its reward never perishes. When the demonic powers seek to confound all things, they do not need a power outage to trouble the soul. Fear, frustration, and the distraction of minor comforts can choke you more readily than a blackout ever could.

You ask me to pray that the power not go out. I will pray rather that your soul remain untroubled whether it does or not. For if the faithful man loses his internet connection, he loses nothing of his treasure. If his computer dies, he has lost no part of his inheritance. But if he loses his patience and his trust in God, he has suffered real harm.

Therefore, work peacefully, knowing that neither a steady current nor a failing one can separate you from the love of Christ. Let your heart be the workplace the Holy Spirit occupies, and no earthly interruption will cast you down. I do not refuse your petition, but I set it within this greater one: that you may learn to be content in every circumstance, strong not by the reliability of the grid but by the power that raised Christ from the dead.

The quiet, steady work of your hands matters, and the desire to do it without interruption is deeply understandable. A sudden power outage can feel like a wall rising up against your whole day. But there is a peace that runs deeper than any utility line, a rest that holds steady even when the lights flicker. Jesus Himself is our peace. He has already torn down every barrier that truly matters, and He invites us to abide in that unshakable calm.

Scripture calls us to labor diligently, and there is real dignity in providing for your needs. Working is right and good. But the quietness and assurance that guard your heart do not come from perfectly stable circumstances. The work of righteousness is peace, and the effect of that righteousness is quietness and assurance forever. When you are simply doing the thing you know is right today, you can breathe out the anxiety over what might go wrong. You are not holding the whole house together on your own. God knows every one of his works from the beginning, and his attention to the details of your life has not dimmed.

If the electricity stays on, offer thanks with a glad heart. If it fails, that is not proof that he has forgotten you. The Lord of peace is able to give you peace by all means, in any situation. Countless times, we try to manufacture peace through our own power, as if enough planning or enough worry could guarantee the outcome. But the Holy Spirit’s work is never driven by our might. The power that sustains you flows from a source no circuit breaker can touch. You can rest where God rests, in the finished work of Christ, and from that place of rest, do your work with a lighter hand.

May the Lord himself give you peace today, preserving both the power you need for your home and the deeper power of a heart anchored in his care.

God, I ask You in Jesus’ name teach and show me how to accept, embrace, abide, and rest in Your love for me in every season of my life and in every situation that I go through (positive or negative). God don’t let me listen to the lies of Satan. But help me keep my focus on You, trust You, and rest in Your love. God help me to always remember how much You love me. You love me so much that You let Your Son, Jesus Christ, die for me, rather than live without me. God Thank You for loving me with an amazing everlasting love. And God may I fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength, and never fall out of love with You. God do this for me, for those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our joy to lift your request to the Lord, asking Him to prevent any power outages and to grant you the peace and focus needed to work from home undisturbed. We prayed earnestly that God’s hand would be upon your home, your work, and your heart, trusting Him to provide stability and calm in every way.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—if the electricity has remained steady and your workdays have been peaceful—we would love to hear a praise report! Please share how God has moved so we can rejoice with you. If, however, you’re still facing challenges or feel the need for continued prayer, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

May He continue to bless you with His presence, provision, and peace as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.

Please pray for another friend whose electricity is about to be cut off within the hour. They forgot to pay the bill by accident and just received notice of a shut off while they're working. I don't think they're a believer. Without electricity, they can't work - they work from home. Thank you.

My HOA is doing electrical work on my home which requires our electricity to be off all day today and possibly tomorrow morning. My family chose to stay home as we don't want to leave our pets in the house without electricity. We would not have been able to take them with us if we left the house...
