We lift our voices together in praise and agreement with the words of Psalm 67, a beautiful declaration of God’s desire to bless His people so that His ways may be known among all nations. Father, we thank You for Your graciousness, for the light of Your face that shines upon us, and for the harvest of righteousness You bring into our lives. Your Word reminds us that blessing is not merely for our own comfort but for the glory of Your name and the advancement of Your kingdom. We pray that as You bless us, our lives would reflect Your goodness, drawing others to seek You and worship You alone.
Lord, we ask that You would indeed make Your ways known on earth and Your salvation among all peoples. Let the nations see Your justice, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness through the lives of Your people. May our words, actions, and very existence proclaim the truth of who You are. We long to see the peoples of the earth praise You, to see them glad and singing for joy under Your righteous rule. Guide the nations, O God, and turn their hearts toward You, for You alone are worthy of all honor and worship.
We also recognize that the land yielding its harvest is a sign of Your provision and blessing. You are the God who sustains, who gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater. We thank You for Your faithfulness in meeting our needs, both physical and spiritual. But we ask, Lord, that You would continue to bless us—not so that we may hoard Your gifts, but so that the ends of the earth may fear You. Let our lives be a testimony to Your greatness, that others may come to know You and revere Your holy name.
Father, we confess that there are times when we seek Your blessings for our own sake rather than for Your glory. Forgive us for those moments when we have forgotten that all we have comes from You and is meant to be used for Your purposes. Teach us to walk in humility, gratitude, and obedience, always mindful that our blessings are meant to be a light to the world.
We also lift up those who may be reading these words and do not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. The greatest blessing of all is the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Open their hearts to understand that Jesus died for their sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. May they turn from their sins and place their trust in Him alone.
Let us close with this prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your blessings and Your faithfulness. We ask that You would continue to pour out Your grace upon us, not so that we may live in comfort, but so that Your name may be exalted among the nations. Use us, Lord, as vessels of Your love and truth. May our lives reflect Your glory, and may the ends of the earth come to fear and worship You. We pray for those who do not yet know You, that they would hear the good news of Jesus Christ and respond in faith. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
