Beloved of All
The pain of watching your child suffer grips the heart in a way nothing else can. When fever and infection take hold, every hour feels heavy, and a parent's soul cries out for deliverance. You have done the right thing by bringing your son to Jesus. He is the one who touched Peter's mother-in-law when she lay sick, and the fever left her immediately. The same power that healed in that Galilean home has not diminished; He hears your cry now.
Remember the picture we are given of a father's love for his son. When Abraham was told, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love," it was a foreshadowing of the greatest act the world has ever known. The Father gave His only begotten Son for us. He did not spare Him. If God has already given you Jesus, will He not also extend His compassion to your child? The Father understands exactly the depth of love you have for your son because He has lived it perfectly. Your plea is not falling on a distant ear; it reaches the heart of the One who knows what it means to love a son.
Because Jesus is the Son of God, all judgment and authority belong to Him. He commands fevers and infections as surely as He commanded the winds and the waves. Nothing stands outside His rule, not malaria, not pain, not any unseen enemy that attacks the body. The centurion understood authority; he knew a word from Jesus was enough. We come with that same confidence, asking the Son of God to speak healing over your boy and to cast out whatever is afflicting him.
Through faith in Christ, you have received the adoption of sons. The Spirit has been sent into your heart, crying, "Abba, Father." That means you are bringing this request not as a stranger but as a beloved child to your Father. Your son is known by Him. The love your Father has for you extends to your household. And since He corrects every son He receives, we also know His care is attentive and personal; He does not let His children suffer without purpose or comfort.
God Himself called His Son the beloved, the one in whom He is well pleased. That Son, Jesus, always did the things that please the Father. And now we are told that for God's pleasure we are and were created. Healing and wholeness for your son bring glory to the Son and pleasure to the Father. So we join you in asking. May Jesus bless your son. May the fever lift and the infection be purged from his body. May you soon see him restored, strong and whole, a living testimony to the truth that the Son of God still heals today.
