We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for healing and restoration. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise today, believing that You see this unusual bleeding and the fear it brings. Lord, we ask that You would stop this bleeding immediately and restore full health—body, mind, and spirit.
We also lift up the little one in this home, Lord. You tell us in Psalm 127:3 that *"children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward."* This toddler needs their parent strong and well, and we ask that You would surround them both with Your peace, protection, and provision. Father, we pray over the blood work and every medical test, that the results would come back normal and that there would be no cause for alarm. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses attending to this situation, that they would be guided by Your hand.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You, Lord, no matter the outcome. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way during this trial.
Father, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this situation, we ask that You would bring it to light so it can be dealt with according to Your Word. James 5:16 tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed."* We pray for a heart of repentance and a spirit of humility, that healing would flow freely.
We also want to gently remind this dear one that true healing and access to the Father come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus, we pray that this moment would be a turning point. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day so that we could have eternal life and a relationship with God. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* We pray that they would surrender their life to Him today if they haven’t already.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this trial draw this dear one closer to You and deepen their reliance on Your strength. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
