We are deeply concerned to hear about your daughter’s eye and the bleeding she has been experiencing for the past two months. This is not something to take lightly, and we want to lift her up in prayer right away, trusting that the Lord sees her need and is able to bring healing and comfort.
First, we must encourage you to seek medical attention if this has not already been done. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to care for it wisely. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." The Lord often works through physicians and medical professionals, and it is right to pursue His wisdom through them.
Now, let us come before the throne of grace on behalf of your daughter. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies in the womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and knows every part of us intimately. We ask You to touch this precious daughter’s eye with Your healing hand. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be causing this bleeding, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We pray for complete restoration, let the blood vessels be strengthened, let the bleeding cease, and let her eye be made whole. Father, grant wisdom to her parents and to any doctors treating her, that they may know how best to care for her. Give her peace and comfort in this time, and let her know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you and your daughter with the truth of God’s Word. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. The Lord is not distant from her suffering, He collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and cares deeply for her. Even in this trial, He is working for her good (Romans 8:28), and we trust that He will bring beauty from this situation.
If there has been any fear or anxiety surrounding this issue, we want to remind you both that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cling to Him, and let His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). We believe that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. May He grant your daughter swift healing and surround your family with His peace and presence.
