Birthday

We rejoice with you on this special day as we lift up your son to the Lord in prayer. Birthdays are a wonderful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the precious gift of life He has given. We pray that the Lord would surround your son with His love, protection, and guidance as he grows another year older.

Father in heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the life of this young man. We ask that You would bless him abundantly on his birthday and in the days ahead. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with others, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Lord, we pray that You would draw him closer to You, that he would come to know You more deeply and walk in Your ways. Strengthen his faith, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).

We also pray for his protection, both physically and spiritually. Guard his heart and mind from the temptations and distractions of this world. Help him to stand firm in his faith and to resist the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11). Surround him with godly influences, friends, mentors, and family who will encourage him to live a life that honors You.

Lord, we ask that You would prepare his future according to Your perfect will. If it is Your plan for him to marry, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into his life, a woman who loves You and will walk alongside him in faith. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, built on a foundation of mutual respect, commitment, and devotion to You (Ephesians 5:22-33). Until that time, help him to remain pure in heart and mind, fleeing from sexual immorality and honoring You with his body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

We also rebuke any spirit of rebellion, doubt, or worldliness that may try to take root in his life. We declare that he is set apart for Your purposes, and we pray that he would live a life that brings glory to Your name. May he be a light in this dark world, sharing the hope of the gospel with those around him.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your plans for his life. May this birthday be the start of a year filled with Your blessings, joy, and peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Happy birthday to your son! Thank you for letting us share in this milestone with you. There’s something sacred in the simple act of marking the day someone arrived on earth, and how much more so when it’s your own child. The love behind your request is clear, and we’re grateful to pause and pray along with you.

We know that every year brings its own mix of growth, challenges, and quiet graces. As he steps into this new chapter, you get to watch God’s faithfulness unfold in his life in ways you might not always see day to day. That’s a precious, sometimes faith-stretching, gift.

Father, we thank you for this son, for every year you have given him and for the person you are forming him to be. Hold him close in the coming year. Guard his steps, deepen his character, and place people around him who will encourage and challenge him well. Whatever he faces, let him sense your steady presence and learn to trust your goodness more. And for his parent, grant a quiet confidence and renewed joy as they celebrate him today, resting in the truth that you love him perfectly and hold him securely. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

A birthday is a token of mercy, for every day we live is a gift from the hand of Him who made heaven and earth. This day your son has completed another year of his earthly pilgrimage; and you do well to bring him before the Lord in prayer. But remember: the blessing that comes from God is not measured by the candles on a cake; it is the blessing of the new birth, the washing of regeneration, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Let your heart cry out that on this very day he might be born from above, for, as I have said, in a spiritual sense Christ is born every day of every year in some men's hearts. And that is a far weightier thing than the observation of natural birthdays.

God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. No blessing comes by chance; it is the fruit of the eternal covenant. His Son was given to be the Savior, and through His shed blood there is cleansing from all sin. Lay hold of this for your son. Believe the promise: "I will bless you," and then "you shall be a blessing." May the Lord so fill him with grace that he overflows with blessing to others. This is my prayer for him: that he may know the double blessing of grace and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. May he be saved in an instant by simple faith. And may you, as a parent, be a blessing to him, that the blessing of a father’s earnest prayers may rest upon his head. The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.

Thus I bless you both in the name of the Lord, who hath given His dear Son, and with Him freely giveth us all things. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you ask prayers for your son on this day of his birth, it is a natural affection that moves you. But lift your mind to the true blessing, the spiritual blessing, which alone endures and is worthy of your chief desire. For there is a blessing of the flesh, an earthly prosperity of going out and coming in, of health and plenty; and there is a blessing of the Gospel, heavenly and immortal. The one is passing, the other makes us sons of God, fellow-heirs with Christ, adorned with every good deed. What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his own soul? Pray then not only for his years to be many, but that he may flee vice and choose virtue, that he may receive the blessing that comes from above, the fulness of the blessing of the Gospel. For it is not the hands of man but the command of God that gives true increase. Thus, let your petition be that he may be found worthy of the blessings to come, that in the world to come he may enjoy the good things that never fade, through the grace and love toward man of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What a gift to bring your son before the throne of grace on his birthday. The longing of every parent’s heart is for blessing to rest upon their child, and God Himself delights to bless. Remember the promise He gave to Abraham: in blessing He would bless, and through Abraham’s seed all the families of the earth would be blessed. That ultimate blessing came in Jesus Christ, the promised Son through whom we become true children of God by faith.

So today I pray that God’s richest blessing would rest upon your son, not just in temporal gifts of health and protection, but in the deep, eternal blessing of knowing God as his Father. May this be the year he hears the gospel with open ears and responds in true repentance and faith, moving from a natural birth into a spiritual birth as an adopted son of the Most High. The only prayer God wants to hear from one who is not yet His child is, “God be merciful to me, a sinner”, and that honest cry opens the door to everything else.

The Scriptures remind us that Esau longed for his father’s blessing too, but he sought it without repentance and found no place for it. How much better to receive the blessing that comes with the birthright of those who are in Christ! That blessing turns us from iniquities, reconciles us to God, and secures our inheritance with the Son. I ask the Lord to give your son a heart that doesn’t merely desire good things from God’s hand, but desires God Himself.

Please don’t grow weary in praying for him. David poured out his heart for his son Solomon, and those prayers reach their fullness in the greater Son of David, Jesus, who sits on the throne forever. Your prayers are part of that same kingdom story. As you keep lifting your son up, know that the Father hears and is well pleased when we honor the Son. No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son reveals Him, so I join you asking that Jesus would reveal the Father to your son in a living, personal way.

May this birthday be a turning point, a year where he truly sees that the greatest blessing is to be found in Christ. Happy birthday to him, and grace to you as you trust God’s timing and faithfulness.
