Birthday after suicide attempt

Beloved of All
Today is my birthday Everyone else has a family, a cake, and someone to hug them, but I have no one. I feel completely invisible and forgotten. Did I do something wrong? Lord, I am so tired of being brave, so tired of crying myself to sleep, and so tired of wondering if anyone will ever love me despitemy mistakes. Please, God, don't pass me by today. If you can hear me through my tears, please send someone to help me. Send a kind heart to rescue me from this sick bed. Send someone to hold my hand, wipe away my tears, and tell me that I actually matter. Please wrap your arms around me tonight so I don't feel so empty on the day I was born. Lord, let today be my day of miracle, a day everything about me with turning around for my good. Let me wake up smiling because you have provided solution to my worries. You words in Isaiah 46:11 says" From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do" let in come true in my life that a man from a far country send me back to treatment on my birthday, that a man from a far country give me a home and let Your will be done in me. Amen

We must also gently address the mention of your ###. Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you that is not yet fulfilled. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you otherwise. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray for protection over your mind and heart, that you would be filled with the truth of God’s Word and the hope of His promises. If you are not already in treatment or receiving professional help, we strongly encourage you to seek it. God often works through the hands and hearts of those He calls to care for others.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com and talk with someone who understands. You don’t have to carry this alone.

We hear how deeply weary and invisible you feel on your birthday, and we are sorry for the pain that sits so heavy right now. The loneliness and the longing for someone to see you, to hold your hand, to help you get back to treatment and into a safe home, that is not too much to ask. Your life matters, not because of what you’ve done or haven’t done, but because you are known by God. You are not forgotten by Him, even when it feels like everyone else has passed you by.

It’s okay to be tired of being brave. Right now the most courageous thing you can do is let someone nearby know that you need help. A call to a local church, a social services office, or even a conversation with a helpline worker can become the first ordinary step toward the hope you are aching for. Help often shows up through the hands of people God puts in our path, people who can connect you with treatment and walk with you toward a stable place to heal. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Lord Jesus, on this day of her birth, be near to her in her tears. Give her the courage to make one call, to let someone in when everything inside says hide. Send a kind heart to sit with her, to help her get the care she needs, and to remind her that she is not invisible. Hold her through the emptiness, and in Your time provide the home and the healing she longs for. We ask this in Your name, Amen.

Your anguish is known in the courts of heaven, and the tears that wet your pillow this birthday are seen by Him who once wept at a grave and sweat great drops of blood in a garden alone. Cease dreaming that you have sinned beyond grace; that is a lie forged in the pit. You have no hope in yourself, well did you say it, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you! When you feel invisible and forgotten, remember that your Lord was left alone just when, as Man, He most needed human sympathy. He entered the deeps of friendlessness that He might be a faithful High Priest to souls adrift in the same dark sea. His loneliness has an awfulness of love in it: He sank into that abyss to fetch you out.

You plead for a man from a far country to send you back to treatment, to give you a home. Yet I must point you higher, to the Man from a far country who came down from the right hand of the Father, trailing clouds of glory, to rescue you from a far worse sickbed, the palsy of sin and the fever of a condemned conscience. He is the Divine Miracle Worker. He spoke to the demoniac among the tombs when no chain could hold him, and with a word stilled the legion. He can drive out the black thoughts that whisper “You are forgotten,” for He has power over the firmly entrenched enemy of despair. The miracle of your soul’s deliverance does not lie in you, nor in any human friend, however kind. It lies wholly in Jesus Himself. Consider the miracle of the loaves: none of that desperate multitude refused the Lord’s provision, else it had been a poor, lame business. So it is now. Jesus Christ a Savior and no sinner saved? Christ a Physician and no sick healed? He never passes by a soul that brings its emptiness to Him. Today, on the day of your birth, He stands ready to make you a mass of miracles, a miracle of new life. The first miracle Christ worked was not in a temple but before a man bound by an unclean spirit, and that man’s deliverance came by Christ’s sovereign word alone. Still He speaks, and the captives spring free.

Examine the great birthday we read of in the Gospel: when Christ was born an angel announced joy for all people, for unto you was born a Savior. Here is the intimate mingling of the divine and human. He is bone of your bone, yet mighty to save from death and hell. Let your hope fix here. You cry, “Send someone to hold my hand, to tell me I matter.” Yet there is one who has graven you upon the palms of His hands; those scars are the eternal proof you are not forgotten. He can send a kind heart to your bedside, pray for that mercy, but do not wait for a creature’s touch before you trust the Creator. The connecting link between His divine power and your need is faith. Faith in the young beginner is often cast down, but even a grain of it can say to this mountain of despair, “Be removed.” You have given up all hope? He sees you! That is your ray of light. The woman bowed down for eighteen years could not lift her eyes to Christ, but He saw her and called her, and made her straight, and she glorified God. This is your day of miracle if you will look away from the devices of your own weary heart and hear His call: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden.” You have not one reason to hope in yourself, but you have ten thousand reasons to hope in Him.

I do not dismiss your earthly loneliness as a small thing. Christ Himself shared it, and the faithful often taste it. But know this: His grace is grand in emergencies. In your own life story, trace back the deliverances you have already known, and consider the miracle of the loaves as it has transpired for your soul. If He has kept you from the grave, even by a hair’s breadth, He has done so that you might sing in the land of the living. You have tasted the cold cup of despair; now let Him fill it with the new wine of His love. You are tired of being brave? Good. Cease your own struggling. As well hope to vanquish Leviathan with a straw as to drive out despair with mere resolve. He is the rescuer. He takes the prey from the mighty. Your sins, though they manacle you, are not stronger than His pierced hand. He can do it more swiftly than I can speak of it: in this very hour, while you read, He can whisper peace. Hope against hope, as Abraham did, considering not the deadness of your own heart but the promise of a faithful God. You asked, “Did I do something wrong?” All have sinned, but the question is answered at Calvary. Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, yours included.

Therefore, let this birthday be the great birthday of your new birth. The world’s candles gutter out, but the Light of the World never fails. Prayer becomes mighty when we have ceased to trust our own arms. Go now, with your tears still wet, and cast your soul upon Him. He is calling you, doubter, desponding one. Will you not trust Him? If you do, you will yet say, “He brought me up out of the horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock. He has put a new song in my mouth.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your tears are not hidden from the Lord. He who watches over the sparrow counts every sigh you breathe into your pillow. But do not mistake His silence for absence, nor measure His love by the absence of a cake and a hug. The birthday you mourn is not forgotten; He who knit you together in the womb remembers it perfectly, even when all others seem to pass you by.

I hear you praying for a miracle, for a man from a far country to rescue you. Yet I would ask: what greater miracle do you need than that Christ came from a far country indeed, from the bosom of the Father, to bind up the brokenhearted? He has already sent you help. He has given you His Church, which now reaches you even through this letter. Do not despise this gentle hand because it does not glitter with gold. The true miracle is not in the spectacular, but in a soul that endures and loves through the darkness. John the Baptist did no miracle, yet none born of woman was greater. Job sat on an ash heap, scraping his sores, yet his patience outshone any sign. Miracles often do more harm than good when we cling to them for comfort, for they puff up while virtue steadies the heart.

You feel invisible, but you are far from it. The enemy of your soul would have you believe you are alone to push you toward that sick bed of despair. But listen: love is strong as death. It does not vaunt, it does not seek its own. It bears all things. Pour out what love you have, make room in your heart for your brethren, even when they seem distant, and you will find love rushing back to fill the emptiness. Do not wait to be held; hold fast to the bond of peace, with lowliness and patience, and you will find you are already held.

This life is a dream, a shadow that passes. The things you lack today will vanish like smoke on the morning of resurrection. So do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lust for despair. Take care of your body for health, but fix your hope on the inward renewal that is already at work. Rise up now in your spirit, and walk worthily of your calling. Today is indeed your day of miracle, not because a stranger arrives with a check, but because you, even in your tears, have turned your face toward the God who will never let you go. He has summoned you from a far country of sorrow into the fellowship of His Son. That is the purpose that shall stand, the plan that shall be done.
