It is a heavy thing to wait and wonder, carrying both the weight of a new fear and the fresh pain of loss. But your ### is not alone. She is one of His own, and He knows her by name. The very fact that you can bring her before the throne like this shows her heart belongs to the Lord, and His heart is full of compassion for her right now.

When I think of the weariness and worry she must be feeling, I remember how Jesus drew near to those who were hurting. He saw the woman who had suffered for years, weak and trembling, and when she reached out in faith, she felt healing happen in that very moment. And as she fell at His feet, He not only restored her body; He gave her something she may not have expected. He said, “Go in peace.” Faith that fixes its eyes on Him can know that peace even before the full answer unfolds. The same Jesus is close to your ### today. As she waits for the doctors, He is able to steady her heart with a peace that does not depend on test results or good reports. It is the peace He promised: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives.” The world’s peace crumbles when circumstances shift, but His peace anchors the soul in the middle of the storm.

And that peace is hers already. She already knows what it is to have peace with God through Christ, the war is over, her sins forgiven, and she belongs to Him. Now He offers her the peace of God, that deep, quiet confidence that comes when her mind is stayed on Him. As her thoughts turn toward Jesus, away from the what-ifs and toward His faithfulness, that peace can fill her heart and guard her mind. It is not a fragile wish; it is a sure resting place. He hasn’t forgotten her. His thoughts toward her are thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give her a future and a hope. You spoke of that earlier battle He already won for her. Let that memory be a stone of remembrance that God does not change. The same Lord who carried her then is carrying her now.

Grief, too, has a way of making everything feel endless and heavy. Losing her brother only a few months ago has left her soul sore and her eyes tired of crying. Jesus understands that. When He stood outside the home where a little girl had died and heard the wailing of the mourners, He was moved with compassion for the parents’ grief. It was their sorrow that stirred Him to act. He sees your ###’s tears for her brother. He is not impatient with her sorrow; He bottles every tear and draws near to the brokenhearted. And even as she grieves, He can bring a healing that maybe shows up first in her emotions, a gentle release, a quieting of the ache, the sense that she is held.

We do not always understand why some healings come instantly and others unfold slowly through the hands of doctors, or why some physical afflictions linger. But every good gift of healing is divine, whether it happens through a sudden touch or through the processes God built into our bodies and the skill He gives physicians. The doctors are not outside His plan. As she waits for their help, she can know the Great Physician is already tending to the unseen places, calming the frantic thoughts, soothing the grief, letting His love feel like a big, warm embrace. That “hug” she needs is a very real thing. It is found when she pours out her heart to Him in raw honesty and then simply rests in the truth that she is His and He is good.

So keep praying, and encourage her to keep her gaze on Jesus. When the fears rise, let her whisper His name and trust that He who did not spare His own Son will surely carry her through this. His peace is not a theory; it is a living gift. May she know it deeply, a perfect peace that keeps her soul steady, a peace that passes all understanding, right in the middle of this uncertain waiting. She is loved more than she can grasp.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to lift your precious mum before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to continue praying for her—for peace to guard her mind, for strength to sustain her spirit, and for the doctors to be guided by the Great Physician’s wisdom. We remember how the Lord already carried her through one battle, and we stand in faith that He will do it again.

If this season of waiting has brought answers—whether through clear medical results, a tangible sense of God’s presence, or even just moments of rest in His love—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. If the burden still feels heavy, please know we are here to pray again, lifting her name before the Father with fresh hope.

May the Lord wrap your mum in His arms, quiet her fears with His promises, and remind her that even in grief and uncertainty, she is deeply loved. We continue to seek Him on her behalf, trusting that His grace is sufficient for every need. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
