Rock and a hard place

Which one is the better course; pleasing the flesh or living in the Spirit? Catering to our selfishness or committing to others?
Selfishness reaps short term rewards while selflessness seldom yields immediate results. In fact selflessness is really an investment of love. It does not look for a worldly rewards but it looks at a future crown of life.

  • Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
  • “Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. Matthew 6:1
  • I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

In Matthee 6, Jesus spoke of the non-righteous having already received their earthly rewards. Their temporary earthly possession have been paid out.
It's temporary and self-serving but it does satisfy the flesh in the moment.

I never would have thought that I would live to see the day that our governments and employers pressuring us to make choices that would directly impact our livelihoods. I now fully expect the government to eventually include our pensions as another bargaining chip to sway the people. Today I'm practicing dew diligence in informing all. This evil is not going away soon. Plan for disruption and keep vigil, and by all means pray. God is indeed in control.

Our Heavenly life awaits us but earthly persecution and earthly rewards will try to derail our walk and our joy. Standfast in His Love.

Selfishness or selflessness? Which one will it be?
God keeping me strong, I choose the Rock over the hard place... for all eternity.

Heavenly Father I pray that You would protect and keep us strong, in the mighty name of our risen Saviour Jesus I pray.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD! An eternal reward awaits.

MEP Christine Anderson speaking at a news conference on 20 October 2021

IN BRIEF

  • The Facts:
    • MEP Christine Anderson joined others to give voice to the millions of Europeans who are opposed to vaccine mandates.
    • She called out governments for not having the best interests of the people at heart, and urged the citizenry to always question and think critically about what governments are trying to do.
  • Reflect On:
Why has mainstream media provided a one sided view of this pandemic while ignoring a perspective that's been shared by what could be hundreds of millions of people?

Member of the European Parliament Christine Anderson (Germany) delivered a very powerful message at a news conference held in Strasbourg on October 21st called: “Defending fundamental rights by opposing the misuse of Digital Green Certificate.” Below is a clip of her speech that is currently making its way around the internet.
Francesca Donato (Italy, NI), Ivan Vilibor Sinčić (Croatia, NI), and Cristian Terheş (Romania, ECR) were also in attendance, giving voice to the millions of Europeans who oppose vaccine mandates. The members of the European Parliament took a joint stand in defense of the fundamental rights of all EU citizens, which they say are under threat now due to mandatory vaccination and abusive use of the Digital Covid Certificate.

I refuse to remain silent! Doing nothing about evil is supporting evil!

If we wish to live a happy and joyful years in our life, then give up selfishness. Jesus want us all to be open and kind to lost souls we see around us. If you want to feel the love of God in your heart, the friend who is thankful that you shared Jesus with them, then give up to be self centered and ignore other peoples pain and sorrow. Let us all think of them first and last of us so Jesus will smile on our life and bless our life. If you and I do not want to be living between a rock and a hard place, then meditate on what Gods word says. Do nothing of selfish ambition. or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. Not looking after your own interests but each one of you to the interest of others. Phil. 2. 3,4

I am assuming you saw the capital R in rock and that you were simply referring to standard definition of between a rock and a hard place.
God bless ❤

Rock of ages cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee. There is no other place in this world to hide but in the arms of the Lord. Be like Jesus, full of love, care and compassion for lost souls of the world. Never ever be a selfish person. Jesus will bless your life when you live like Jesus lived, speak like Jesus spoke and act just like Him.

Jesus is the best doctor, physician and He alone will heal us from any worry, any pain we can have on vaccines of all kinds that are appearing before our eyes. New viruses are coming along and it is killing millions. We need Jesus. We need the Lord. Healing cometh from His hands. By His stripes we are healed. That is so true. My life is in Jesus hands. I do not worry about anything. I know who brought me here to earth, and I know where I am end up when my time is over on earth. Do not trust in mans words of promises, trust in Jesus promise. I am the One who healeth you.
