We hear your cry for restoration and healing, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. Your honesty about backsliding is the first step toward returning to the Lord, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is drawing you back. The Scriptures assure us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great for His mercy, and no distance too far for His love to reach you.
We rebuke the spirit of backsliding in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backsliding" (Jeremiah 3:22). The Lord is calling you back to Himself, not to condemn you, but to restore you. We pray that every chain of bondage, whether of sin, sickness, or the schemes of the enemy, be broken off your life. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let your heart be tender before Him, for He is ready to heal and deliver.
We lift up your body to the Lord, asking for complete healing from every disease, infection, and ailment. Jesus bore our sicknesses and infirmities on the cross, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may have schemed against you, but the Lord will expose and confound every plot of darkness. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We pray for your provision, spiritual, material, and financial, knowing that the Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We declare victory over sin, Satan, the flesh, and the world, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord will restore you fully, for He is the God of restoration (Joel 2:25-26).
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister. We ask that You break every chain of backsliding and draw them close to Your heart. Heal their body, mind, and spirit from every affliction. Deliver them from the snares of the enemy and expose every hidden scheme of darkness. Provide for their every need and give them victory over sin and temptation. Restore them unto Yourself, Lord, and let them walk in the fullness of Your love and grace. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
